Take a drink when:
- The characters pour a drink or toast. If you're living dangerously, take one each time someone smokes.
- A character snorts cocaine.
- "Red Right Hand" is played. Take two if it's a different version than the main theme.
- Someone mentions the war.
- One of the family has a gun to their head.
- Alfie Solomons appears.
- Polly acts as Tommy's advisor/confidante.
- The Blinders actually blind someone.
- One of the Blinders shoots and/or kills someone personally.
- Grace sings.
- The IRA or Communism is mentioned.
- There's a family meeting.
- Tommy flirts with or has sex with someone.
- Winston Churchill is mentioned. Take two if he appears.
- Someone refers to "gypsies" or "tinkers."
- Esme, Linda, or Gina causes problems for Tommy.
- Polly acts protective of Michael. Take two if he doesn't appreciate it.
- One of the main characters dies.
- Someone makes fun of or is protective of Finn.
- Arthur acts like a Death Seeker. In later seasons, after Grace is killed, drink when Tommy does.
- Ada is the only one able to get through to somebody.
- In later seasons, whenever someone references Tommy's status as an OBE or MP.
- Whenever someone is Outgambitted.
- There is a Team Power Walk sequence set to anachronistic music.
