- The Princess tells Blatant Lies or gives herself away by looking awkward when she lies.
- The General's crush on the Maid pops up.
- The Chef boasts about his cooking, says, "I cannot have ____ in my kitchen", shoos someone out of the kitchen, or calls Puss "Bad cat".
- The Princess and Prime Minister race on tricycles.
- The Maid is a Neat Freak.
- The Queen's Sweet Tooth crops up.
- The King takes a nap.
- The Princess says, "La la la la la."
- The Princess does a Happy Dance.
- The potty shows up.
- The King falls asleep.
- The Princess is referred to as "Sweetheart" or "Poppet" by one of her parents.
- The "nighty-nighty, sleep tight-y" phrase is said.
- The rooster crows in the morning.
- The owl hoots, "Hoo-hoo. Hoo-hoo." when the scene cuts to night.
- The narrator describes the weather as "peaceful".
- The narrator makes a guess about the Princess (like "The Princess must be outside") and he's right.
- The narrator disapproves of what the Princess is doing.
- The Princess says, "Don't tell" to the narrator.
- One of the pets makes a scheme.
- Puss pranks Scruff.
- One of the pets is wrongly blamed for something.
- The mice or rabbits show up.
- The Princess angrily yells the episode title.
- The Admiral says something nautical or does his Signature Laugh.
- Someone plays croquet.
- Take two sips whenever:
- As a response to the narrator saying, "You look [emotion]," the Princess replies, "I am."
- Someone besides the Princess tells a blatant or incompetent lie.
- The Maid, Queen, or Gardener acts in a goofy, childish, or irrational way.
- The Maid actually humours the General when he's crushing on her.
- Any of these characters show up: Great-Auntie, Auntie, the Princess's baby cousin, Algie, Great-Uncle Walter, Claptrap, or the Inventor.
- Someone besides the Princess does a happy dance.
- The rooster appears but he doesn't crow, or the owl appears but he doesn't hoot.
- The narrator makes a guess about the Princess's activities or whereabouts that turns out to be wrong.
- A mouse blows a raspberry, or a rabbit steals.
- The episode opens in the evening or on a non-sunny day.
- The Princess says the episode title not out of anger.
- One of the pets behaves unlike their species.
