The Siblings
The siblings in order from oldest to youngest. They are all named after people (or an animal in Rex’s case) that are seen as bad or dangerous.
Starkweather Tyrannus
The oldest brother and a Parental Substitute for his siblings. Works as a “Cleaner”, which is basically a Bounty Hunter or Mercenary.
Named after the Spree Killer Charles Starkweather.
Tropes:
- Big Little Brother: Little big brother in this case. He is shorter than Bianchi, Bathory, and Vladian, and around the same height as the twins. So the only one he is really taller than is Quisling, but this is by default since she is a young child.
- From Camouflage to Criminal: Used to be part of the Armed Forces but left and became a Cleaner.
- Improbable Weapon User: Downplayed. His weapon is a large guillotine blade on a chain.
- Promotion to Parent: As the oldest, he had to do most of the work caring for his siblings after their parents died.
Bianchi “Mad Dog” Tyrannus
Second oldest brother, also a Parental Substitute. An artist by trade, he has a mean Hair-Trigger Temper and is The Dreaded most people on “his turf”.
Named after the Serial Killer Kenneth Bianchi.
Tropes:
- Bare-Fisted Monk: Unlike the rest of his siblings he doesn’t use a weapon. He doesn’t need a weapon.
- The Dreaded: Due to his notorious temper, Super-Strength, and fighting skills, most people are utterly terrified of him.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: There are a lot of things, mostly things that people say or due that make him angry and turn to violence.
- Love at First Punch: Falls in love with Jinko Plumbum after getting into a fight with him and discovering they were actually evenly matched.
- Promotion to Parent: To a lesser extent than his older brother. When their parents died he was old enough to take care of himself and as such, old enough to take care of his younger siblings.
- World's Best Warrior: There aren’t many people who are strong or skilled enough to go toe to toe with him. One of the people who can is his boyfriend, Jinko.
Bathory Tyrannus
The third oldest brother; a disgraced doctor who got his medical license revoked after he was caught stealing patient’s blood for Blood Magic. Now works out of a dingy abandoned building, healing Gang members and other criminals or lowlifes.
Named after Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed, one of the purported inspirations for Dracula.
Tropes:
- Blood Magic: An interesting example. By injecting other people’s blood into himself he can create new spells. He can cast then these spells by spilling his own blood.
- Feel No Pain: As part of his power he has no pain receptors.
- Gender-Blender Name: Not In-Universe, but his namesake was a woman.
Vladian “V” Tyrannus
Fourth oldest brother and the middle child. He is the boss of the powerful Gang the Black Dragons. Is an unrepentant mass murderer with little regard for most life, yet is unfailingly loyal to his family and his subordinates, whom he considers to be included. Also always always keeps his word. The Dreaded of almost the entire city though no one outside of his gang and the other bosses know his true identity. Also known as ‘Bloody-Walls V’ or simply ‘V’.
His name comes from Vlad the Impaler.
Tropes:
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Loves his siblings and those he considers family dearly and tries to avoid anything that could endanger them. No one will ever outlive their usefulness in his gang.
Lex Tyrannus / Vivisector “Viv” Tyrannus
The fifth oldest brother and third youngest sibling. One minute older twin brother of Rex. A Dirty Cop who only joined the precinct for the prestige. Frequently takes bribes and slacks off amongst other shady things. Really more jaded than evil though, and is the least violent sibling (yes, even the little girl is more violent).
He is ostensibly named after Lex Luthor, but really just because it rhymes with Rex.
Also has a Split Personality (or “Mindtwin”) named Vivisector, or Viv, who is a Serial Killer and has a slightly different appearance than him.
Vivisector, of course, means he cuts people open.

Rex Tyrannus
The youngest brother and sixth sibling. One minute younger twin brother of Lex (and Viv). An immortal terrorist/Professional Killer who is addicted to the feeling of dying. Partial to explosions and fight with a meat cleaver.
Named after the Tyrannosaurus rex.
Tropes:
- Death Seeker: Sort of. He is an immortal who loves the feeling of dying which he sometimes takes to fetishistic levels
, but he does not want to die permanently. - Resurrective Immortality: He dies a lot, but always come back a short while later.
Quisling Tyrannus
The youngest of the 7(.5) siblings and the only sister. A little girl (about 7 in human terms) who packs a wallop. Hurts people because she doesn’t know better, as growing up with a bunch of criminals isn’t exactly conductive to learning good behaviour.
Named after the famous traitor Vidkun Quisling. Surprisingly averts Meaningful Name.

- Significant Monogram: Her initials are Q.T., which sounds like “cutie” and she is adorable.

Vladian’s Gang. Considered part of the family by him at least. Styled after The Mafia.

Vladian’s Number Two. Leads the gang when he is away and takes a cut of the Capo’s profits for him. Also typically acts as head of relations
