Robert Joseph Hogan (born September 28, 1933 - May 27, 2021) was an American actor best known for his various tv appearances.
He was married to Mary Barbera and Sharon Lynn Harper and he had three children.
He is not to be confused with Colonel Robert Hogan, who was played by Bob Crane. That being said, the show's co-creator Bernard Fein later said in an interview that he had named the fictional Col. Hogan after the real-life actor Robert Hogan, who was a good friend of Fein's. Further, according to Fein, Hogan was actually Fein's first choice to play Hogan, except that CBS demanded an actor with more name recognition note . Hogan would later guest-star on the show alongside his namesake character in two episodes.
Hogan died in 2021 at the age of 87.
