Owen Brenman, (17 December 1956), is a British actor best known for playing Nick Swainey in One Foot in the Grave.

During his education, he obtained a BA Honours in Drama at the University of Birmingham and later attended the Webber Douglas School of Singing and Dramatic Art.

He played Nick Swainey in the one scene of the first episode of One Foot in the Grave; Brenman returned to the series in Series 2, now regularly, and remained with the series until the final episode in 2000.

During his time on One Foot, he also starred in Woof! as Mr. Thomas and later on starred in Love Hurts (also written by One Foot writer David Renwick) as Lloyd Drewitt.

Alongside his roles on the stage, Brenman also played Dr. Heston Carter in Doctors in over 1,000 episodes in a period of ten years.
