Osamu Ichikawa (市川 治) (June 21, 1936-January 2, 2009) was a veteran Japanese voice actor best known for voicing No Nonsense Nemeses and Noble Demons with his badass Baritone of Strength. You've probably heard his voice if you love Japanese action media from The '70s. Ichikawa frequently voiced antagonists in mecha anime and tokukatsu, the most well-known of these the three blonde Long Haired Pretty Boys from the Robot Romance Trilogy.
He often worked with Tadao Nagahama, Shōzō Iizuka and Miyuki Ueda.
Believe it or not, he's been in some shoujo anime and even Scooby-Doo. And yes, he gave Fred the same Badass Baritone he gave to Prince Heinel and Norris Packard.
Ichikawa had a wife and two sons, as well as a younger brother. In 2009, he passed away from heart failure. May he rest in peace.
