Mack Rides (pronounced like "Mach") is a manufacturer of amusement rides based in Germany. Founded all the way back in 1780 as a wagon builder, the company gradually began to specialise in creating products for carnivals and other amusements, building its first rollercoaster in 1921. The company opted to dedicate itself to ride and rollercoaster construction in the 1960's, and has been a major player in the space ever since.
The company is a Family Business, with the namesake Mack family having owned and managed it for its entire history. The Mack family is known for their other major venture, Europa-Park, the second biggest theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris. The connection means that the park is often used as a showcase for Mack Rides' latest product offerings.
