Lindsay Ann Crouse (born May 12, 1948 in New York City) is an American actress active since The '70s. She has personal connections to the theatre world in a couple of ways, being the daughter of the playwright Russell Crouse and having been married to playwright, screenwriter, and director David Mamet. Zosia Mamet, her daughter by David, is an actress in her own right known for playing Shoshanna Shapiro on Girls.
Crouse has not appeared in movies or on TV since 2013, but has remained active in theatre. She is a practicing Buddhist.
