John Winfield Stephenson (August 9, 1923 – May 15, 2015) was an actor and voice actor known for starring in various animated series through the
1960's, 70's, and 80's, usually casted as a villain, authority figure, or a comic relief. He served in
World War II as a radio operator and gunner. Throughout his life, he never gave interviews and rarely went out in public, though he did make an appearance at BotCon 2001 for
Transformers fans. He passed away at age 91 from Alzheimer's Disease.
