John Banner (born Johann Banner; January 28, 1910 - January 28, 1973) was an Austrian-born American actor best known for Hogan's Heroes (1965-1971), Thirty Six Hours (1964), and The Blue Angel (1959).
Banner died in 1973 at the age of 63 from abdominal hemorrhage,
