Joe Pingue (born c. 1976 in St. Catharines, Ontario) is a Canadian character actor and filmmaker who has appeared quite a bit in film, television, and cartoons made in both Canada and the United States.

While not exactly a household name in acting, Joe Pingue has quite an extensive resume, with over 100 credits to his name since 1995. Among his many, many appearances across movies and TV shows, his most notable are probably such works as Miss Sloane, Blindness, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Pompeii, The Book of Eli, Orphan Black, Antiviral, Maps to the Stars, Wild Card, The Boondock Saints, Dream House, The Expanse, Repo Men, and Godless. He also has a decent-sized career in voice acting for animated TV shows, most notably in Nelvana series like Spliced, Trucktown, and The Day My Butt Went Psycho!, as well as CBC's Yam Roll.

Joe Pingue has also done a little bit of work behind the cameras. He produced and wrote in the 2008 Genie Award-nominated short film The Answer Key (and also starred in it), and also directed, produced and wrote the short film Chili and Cheese: A Condimental Rift. He also appears pretty regularly in commercials; his very first gig was actually an advertisement for a beer brand.
