Jean-Philippe Puymartin (born April 20) is a French actor, voice actor and artistic director.

A renowned veteran both on stage (he played at the Comédie-Française between 1981 and 1994) and in the voice acting industry, he is the main French dubbing voice of Hollywood's two most illustrious Toms since The '80sHanks since 1988's Punchline, and Cruise since Interview with the Vampire (succeeding Patrick Poivey). Lestat, Ethan Hunt (since 2006), Maverick, Woody, Forrest Gump, Captain John H. Miller, Chuck Noland, Robert Langdon... he's done them all, and then some.

He's also a regular French voice for Sean Patrick Flanery, Chris O'Donnell (shared with Pierre Tessier), Christian Slater, Quentin Tarantino and Mark Dacascos. Animation-wise, perhaps his most famous dub role besides the aforementioned Woody is Timon the meerkat in The Lion King and related media.

As an artistic director in dubbing, he has supervised the dubs of the films of Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Bryan Singer, J. J. Abrams and James Gray.
