Jean Barney (born October 28, 1943) is a French stage and screen actor and voice actor.

He's best known for dubbing J. K. Simmons in most of his roles since 2002 (including J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man Trilogy and the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, more recently, Commissioner Gordon in Justice League and Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man in Invincible), as well as Scott Glenn, Geoff Pierson, James Remar, Stacy Keach, Ray Wise and Alan Dale. He also dubbed Michael Douglas a few times (such as Gordon Gekko in Wall Street).

A prolific stage actor from 1968 to 2015, he has also played in some films as bit characters (such as the Speaker of the Republic in The Married Couple of the Year Two) and done plenty of narration and voice-over in trailers, ads and shows (such as Les Guignols de l'Info, where he also voiced some characters).

His daughter, Magali Barney, and grandson, Simon Koukissa, are also voice actors.
