Francisco Ramon Angones, Jr. (born November 18, 1982) is an American writer, director, producer, and story editor. He is best known for co-creating DuckTales (2017) along with Matt Youngberg.

Prior to DuckTales (2017), he had started off his career as a freelance writer alongside writing partner Amy Higgins on projects such as the independent movie Mutual Friends and the TBS sitcom Men at Work. He would find himself working for Disney in 2013, initially freelance writing an episode of the Disney Channel sitcom Austin & Ally before jumping into animation as a writer and story editor for Wander over Yonder.

Currently, he served as producer on the animated series Loafy and was a writer and story editor for the Netflix animated series Kid Cosmic reuniting with his good friend Craig McCracken (previously working together on Wander Over Yonder). He's also the supervising producer and writer of Central Park during Season Three.

Tropes associated with Francisco Angones' works:

  • Creator Couple: With Rachel Vine who served as a writer on DuckTales (2017) and Wander Over Yonder alongside him.
  • Descended Creator: Almost became this in a pitch for the DuckTales (2017) episode "The Most Dangerous Game Night" where he was supposed to voice a wizard that would try to send the Ducks on an epic quest that Louie had to distract.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Having grown up watching Disney Afternoon in his childhood, Frank was ecstatic getting to co-create DuckTales (2017).
  • What Could Have Been:
    • He had once pitched a Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers reboot that would've included characters from The Rescuers and The Great Mouse Detective involving a Rescue Aid Society founded by Basil's protégé Olivia that Chip had been a fan of and sought to join with Dale, but Bernard refuses due to them being chipmunks that he believes cause nothing but trouble and end up forming an offshoot of the Rescue Aid Society.
    • He also once pitched a series of shorts focusing on Gaston, but Disney rejected it due to finding Gaston too unsympathetic to be a lead.
