Emma Gwynedd Mary Chambers, (11 March 1964 –- 21 February 2018), was a British actress best known for playing Alice Chambers in The Vicar of Dibley.

After training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, she worked as a member of the repertory company at the Stephen Joseph Theatre. After much success on the stage, she appeared in small roles on TV, such as in two 1990 episodes of The Bill. In 1994, she was cast as Alice Tinker in The Vicar of Dibley, appearing in all twenty episodes and four Comic Relief specials.

Other notable work by Chambers includes voicing Belle Stickleback in Pond Life and Spotty in Little Robots, and playing Helen Yardley in How Do You Want Me? and Honey Thacker in Notting Hill.

She died of a heart attack at the age of 53.
