Elisabetta Spinelli (born March 14th, 1965) is an Italian dubbing voice actress.

The role that made her popular in the 90's is the titular Sailor Moon. Since then, she has been cast many times as the Magical Girl protagonist or main female heroine in animated series. Her other most notable roles include Chi-Chi from Dragon Ball and Lily Aldrin from How I Met Your Mother.

Some of her roles include:

Anime

Live-Action TV

Western Animation

Her works provide examples of:

  • invokedI Am Not Spock: She has voiced a great deal of major characters, often protagonists, in many Italian anime dubs in the 90s and 2000s, but grown-up 90s kids will forever hear Sailor Moon speaking whenever she's talking. She has embraced her legacy and remembers very fondly her role as Bunny over twenty years later.
  • invokedTypecasting: As the Stock Shoujo Heroine and/or the leader of a group of girls in animated series, ever since she dubbed Usagi in Sailor Moon. Obviously, she also played different roles, but this is by far the most frequent.
