The Spectacular Spider-Men is a 2024 ongoing series by Marvel Comics, written by Greg Weisman with art by Humberto Ramos.

The series features the two titular Spider-Men (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) teaming up for various adventures.

The Spectacular Spider-Men provides examples of:

  • Age-Gap Romance: Discussed when Peter insists that he's too old and Miles too young to hit on college-age women, Miles opining that "a little flirt don't hurt".
  • Beast Man: The green Jackal-Hulk hybrid accidentally released from one of the Jackal's containment pods.
  • Big Brother Mentor: Peter is this to Miles, even pushing him to flirt with a woman at the coffee shop.
  • The Bus Came Back:
    • Kenny Kong, Shelly Conklin, and Cedric Harrison all make an appearance since last appearing in Starbrand & Nightmask.
    • Sha Shan Nguyen and Professor Raymond Warren also make appearances after not being seen in a while.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • Miles casually mentions he's already seeing someone—that someone being his girlfriend Tiana Toomes, aka Starling, from Miles Morales: Spider-Man (Vol. 1)—while trying to set himself and Peter up with college-age women.
    • Shift, Miles' clone/brother, makes an appearance near the end of the second issue, and is shown speaking after Ms. Marvel taught him to do so off-panel in Miles' solo run.
  • How We Got Here: The first issue is intercut with scenes of Peter and Miles meeting up once a week to get coffee at ESU leading up to them encountering the Jackal-Hulk beast.
  • In-Series Nickname: With no idea what it is, Peter ends up calling the green monster a "Jackal-Hulk".
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Both Peter and Miles poke fun at the concept of Comic-Book Time in the first issue. Peter says at one point that he feels like he's been at the superhero game for 60 years. Miles also states that he feels like he's been in High School for 10 years.
  • Mythology Gag: Professor Raymond Warren—brother of mad scientist Miles Warren—is given the full name Raymond Aaron Warren in reference to his adaptation from The Spectacular Spider-Man, who was named Aaron Warren.
  • Not a Mask: Peter initially thinks the Jackal-Hulk hybrid is Miles Warren wearing a costume, only to find out it's exactly what it looks like when he tries to unmask it.
  • One-Steve Limit:
    • Averted, as both Peter and Miles are Spider-Man. This actually is brought up In-Universe as Miles tries to figure out what they should call each other considering options like "Spider-Man of Manhattan" for Peter and "Spider-Man of Brooklyn" for himself.
    • When Peter talks about Miles Warren, Miles Morales thinks Pete's blowing his secret identity and webs his mouth to shut him up before the situation is clarified.
  • Relationship Upgrade: Kenny Kong and Shelly Conklin have become a couple in the interim since their last appearances.
  • Ship Tease: Solicits for the third issue show that Miles ends up cheating on his girlfriend Starling (Tiana Toomes) with none other than his old Champions teammate Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan).
