The Real World
Debbie Maddox is the main protagonist of Yonderland. She is brought to Yonderland as The Chosen One and appears in every episode.
Pete Maddox is the husband of Debbie Maddox, and the father of Hayley and Ben.
Ben Maddox and Haley Maddox are the twin children of Debbie and Pete Maddox.
Nigel Maddox is Pete's father.
Barbara Maddox is Pete's mother.
Good People of Yonderland
Grintallin Gobscrew Crotell Fashanu F’naw Goplatz Holla-Holla (aka 'Elf') is the messenger between the Debbie's world and Yonderland. He accompanies Debbie Maddox, through her quests given to her by The Elders
Nicholas G. Stick is a talking stick, carried by Elf, who is the key to opening the portal between Debbie's world and Yonderland.
Valantis Diego (aka 'The Crone'), is the keeper of The Oracle.
- Cross-Cast Role: Played by Jim Howick.
Wizard Bradley is an old wizard who lives in Yonderland.
Mojo is Wizard Bradley's assistant.
The Ninnies are members of an old tribe within Yonderland, and are renowned for their low intelligence and common sense.
The Elders
- Non-Indicative Name: Despite being called the Elders, not all of them look particularly old.
- Not-So-Omniscient Council of Bickering: They don’t know what Debbie has been chosen to do and mostly just squabble with each other.
Chief Elder Choop is one of the Elders of Yonderland.
Lord Elder Pressley is one of the Elders of Yonderland.
- The Alcoholic: His reason for losing the second scroll was that he lost in on the way home from the tavern while drunk.
- The Alcoholic: It was said by his actor, Ben Willbond, that he is probably always drunk.
- Camp Straight: He appears to be fond of fashion, as indicated by his flamboyant outfits.
Scribe Elder Ho-Tan is one of the Elders of Yonderland.
- Ambiguous Gender Identity: Her gender is never actually stated, but she appears to be a transgender woman- she has a more feminine hairstyle and wishes to be female in one episode.
- Cross-Cast Role: Played by Laurence Rickard.
- The Smurfette Principle: Implied. As mentioned above, they never explicitly state what gender she is, but she’s most likely a woman, making her the only (properly introduced) female Elder.
- Women Are Wiser: Still not very bright, but she’s the only Elder who is shown to be able to read and write, and tends to get the Smart Ball more than the others.
Vice-Elder Flowers is one of the Elders of Yonderland.
- Hippie Name: “Flowers” is a common fictional hippie name.
Trevor the Blob is one of the Elders of Yonderland.
- Blob Monster: Pretty self-explanatory.
Cuddly Dick was previously the Elders Chamber's Representative to 'Kiss N' Cuddle Land', before he was imprisoned by Imperatrix.
Nestor of Maddox was a nobleman from the Twelve Realms.
The Elder Youngers are the children of the Elders.
Main Antagonists
Trixie Maddox (aka 'Imperatrix') is the main antagonist of Seasons 1 and 2.
Admiral Anous is the right-hand man to Imperatrix.
Bad Wig is an evil hairpiece that has taken control of Cuddly Dick
Johnny Cash is a singer, and 15 times winner of the Thanktival Song Contest.
Overlords
Negatus is one of the evil overlords of Yonderland, and the main antagonist to Debbie Maddox.
Dissectus is one of the evil overlords of Yonderland.
Voltari is one of the evil overlords of Yonderland.
Giles is one of the evil overlords of Yonderland.
Bu'Jet Kutz is one of the evil overlords of Yonderland.
Negatus' Minions
Jeff is one of the three demons that assist Negatus. He is known as the "idiot" demon.
Neil is one of Negatus' demon minions, along with Rita and Jeff.
Rita is a female demon who works for Negatus alongside Jeff and Neil. Out of the three, it would seem Rita has the most common sense. She has a crush on Negatus which is not reciprocated.
Kendall is employed by Negatus to polish the stones acquired from The Ninnies to fund the ongoing war.
