  • King Bradley throws down a single gold coin to a starving, filthy crowd. What convinces him to give up the rest? An adorable child, who picks up the coin, smiles, and sincerely thanks the king. It warms his heart enough to dump all the rest of his treasure onto the surprised and joyous crowd.
  • The Parvuli's "Thank You Debbie" song.
  • The Elders giving Debbie a surprise birthday party, even if it wasn't actually her birthday.
  • Bradley, the Gallants, and the Monks/Estate Agents banding together to save Debbie and Elf.
  • Pete waits up for Debbie on date night and falls asleep, and isn't even angry that she missed it. It's refreshing to see a loving and balanced relationship on the telly.
  • Even though it's vital to the mission, the Crone hesitates to speak badly of Debbie to Imperatrix's guards when she's standing right there. The Crone might not be all there, but she does like or at least respect Debbie.
    • On a lesser note, one of the guards is genuinely touched when Debbie tells him to have a nice day. He's later seen trying to convince his gate-mates of the benefits of behaving as individuals, and they're actually listening to him.
  • Bradley, Mojo, the Gallants, Elf and Debbie all having tea in Debbie's kitchen in Episode 8 is quite lovely to see, even if it is brief.
  • The goodbye party for Debbie at the start of season 3 thrown by the Elders, particularly Elf’s parting line:
Elf: There’s a lovely elvish word for a loss you can’t quite face...
Debbie: Oh really? What is it?
Elf: I’ll tell you next time.
