NES Robotnik
This version of Robotnik hails from the Somari bootleg game and is the second major opponent in "Top Loader".
- A Day in the Limelight: NES Robotnik gets only a part of the song to himself, but he makes every second he's present count.
- Badass Normal: Like NES Sonic, NES Robotnik is one of the most normal opponents in the mod (if not counting him becoming a Glitch Entity thanks to the Vinesauce Corruption), and he provides a real challenge to Boyfriend in his time on-screen.
- Glitch Entity: NES Robotnik seems to have become one thanks to Vinesauce messing around with his game, and seems to have been responsible for NES Sonic becoming corrupted and his code being swapped out for Somari's.
Stranger
A defective clone of Sonic made by Eggman who is the opponent of "Stranger Danger".
- Escaped from the Lab: After going hostile, Stranger escaped containment and went out into the wild. Eggman decided then and there that Stranger was a lost cause and didn't want to bother with him anymore.
- Gone Horribly Wrong: Stranger was meant to be a genetic clone of Sonic to fight the blue blur with, but he turned out almost nothing like Eggman had conceptualised.
- Would Hurt a Child: Since Skid and Pump are set to be the ones taking Stranger on, it's clear Stranger won't mind harming them if they're not careful.
Playable Characters
Girlfriend
Boyfriend's, well... girlfriend, who tags along for a good number of the mod's songs, and is the playable protagonist of "Smoke and Mirrors" in the main story.
- Promoted to Playable: Girlfriend becomes this in the main week when she's set to face down Sonic.exe solo.
Sonic (Sonic2.exe Saga)
"I... WON'T... LET... YOU WIN!"
This version of Sonic is unlucky enough to be terrorised by Zalgo wearing his best friend's skin, and is the first playable character in "Last Chance".- Demonic Possession: Sonic suffers this at Zalgo's hands after all his turns are over, his body becoming Zalgo's vessel for what's left of the song, and Tails becoming the playable character in replacement.
- Doomed by Canon: Considering the song follows the path of the bad ending in iNSaNIty.exe, nothing can be done to save Sonic.

Sonic.NES / John Walter
"The pursuit for SALVATION!"
Sonic.NES (otherwise known by his real name, John Walter) was an EXE character created by RightBurst who served as the leading opponent of "Top-Loader" until his removal, when he was replaced with NES Sonic.- Karma Houdini: John Walter consistently avoided the law and avoided leaving any trace of the murders being his doing behind, meaning he was most likely never truly punished for his crimes.
- Serial Killer: John bathed in this in life, having claimed the lives of five children in really gruesome ways and consistently covering his tracks.
