* GracefulLoser: He is very happy the paladins won Garfle Warfle Snick. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] since his whole motive is testing heroes so that they may achieve greatness.
* GreatGazoo: He's a diminutive four-armed green alien with buck-teeth and oddly-shaped antennae, deific powers, and a penchant for mischief, posing as a game-show host. He even repeatedly calls Lance a "dum-dum", and seeks to teach the Paladins a lesson regarding the importance of friendship.
* TheOmniscient: Zigzagged. He knows every detail about the Paladins, their adventures, and the people they met along the way. He didn’t see Pidge hitting him with a golf ball coming through and seemed legitimately surprised the paladins won.

* WellIntentionedExtremist: He a tester of heroes and seemed to put the paladins on the gameshow in order to test their friendship so that they are ready for the challenges ahead... Thing is failing his show is likely to result in being stuck there forever or dying horribly. The Paladins themselves lampshade this, being honored to have won his test but also thinking he was a total jerk.

* EasilyForgiven: No one blames the Alteans for [[spoiler:being Honerva's pawns, even when they destroy entire planets and enable Honerva to break reality]].
* KarmaHoudini: Thanks to [[spoiler:Allura restoring reality and undoing most of the damage, most of the surviving Alteans don't get tried for their war crimes against the galaxy from season 8. By this point they had destroyed several planets for their quintessence while robbing the regeneration cubes from Olkarion]].

* SurprisinglySuddenDeath: When ranting on to Romelle on how she betrayed them, supposedly by Honerva's doing, she goes into a shock and then flatlines. It's revealed that Honerva bonded the surviving Alteans to dark entities from the Quintessence field -- of the same sort that corrupted her and Zarkon -- and can use these entities to remotely observe, control, and even kill them.
