The trio explained that they would be focusing on their own [=YouTube=] and Twitch channels, and that the original channel would be left intact as an archive.

* MythologyGag: Rage was actually mentioned almost 2 years before the ''Def Jam'' playthrough, when Matt casually brought him up to Pat in a playthrough as "this character Woolie's brother made for every fighting game".

* PermaStubble: Rage has a barely-noticeable 5 o'clock shadow.

* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: His black kung-fu pants and red belt combined with his role as a ScaryBlackMan call this trope to mind. As [[SuperMode "Shin Rage"]], the color scheme is inverted, giving him blood red gloves and pants with a black belt. [[RobotMe Ragebot]] in ''Real Steel'' is also painted in bright red and black.

He was was able to quit his original job of packing groceries, [[SoulSuckingRetailJob which he is very open about hating]], because of how well the series has taken off, giving him more free time to do other things like making silly videos. However, he has also stated that despite the fact that creating an LP seems like the easiest thing in the world, it can take several hours of work to chop up several hours of gameplay and make sure everything works. Nowadays he gets by via frequently streaming himself playing games.

* PickyEater: In addition to his other SuperOCD traits, he refuses to eat salad with dressing and his girlfriend notes on twitter that he never eats anything with ''fiber''. This has lead to him contracting Gout, notably [[LaserGuidedKarma after mocking people with scurvy.]]

* SuperOCD: Multiple segments of the podcast have been dedicated to dissecting Pat's "Mind Goblins". Among other things, he seems to have a lot of weird habits regarding toothbrushing and making his bed, and the others will often mock him by telling him something in his apartment is dirty or out of place. He obsessively manages save files and the inventory in [=RPGs=] and says (and shows) that it irritates him when the amount of consumables in his inventory is not a multiple of five. During the ''VideoGame/{{Bloodborne}}'' LP he claimed he would delete the save file they used after the LP is over because he wants to play again on his own ''but hates the idea of his save being listed second''. And in the video for ''Avengers: Battle for Earth'', Liam stops Pat's trolling by rubbing his hand down the TV screen, [[OhCrap Matt and Woolie freak out]], Liam laughs. Pat? ** Woolie's bizarre family history is revisited years later in ''Castle Super Beast'' after Woolie takes a trip to Ireland. Irish ancestry and surnames are common in Jamacia and Barbados, and Woolie's family name is eventually traced back to what turns out to be a notorious [[TheClan noble clan]]. * ShipperOnDeck: For Auron and Lulu of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasy10''. From the first moment Auron asks Lulu to brief him on the status of Yuna's pilgramage, Matt began loudly declaring how perfect the two cool, [[TheStoic stoic]] badasses would be together. The fact that Lulu's eventual beau, [[TheChewToy Wakka]], is the LP's primary target for mockery certainly helps.

* AscendedExtra: While he was originally just one of several rejected designs spotlighted in the first episode of ''Fighterpedia'', he went on to be referenced in every episode of the show, as well as make cameos in other videos like ''Super Best Friends Brawl'' and ''Two Best Friends Funtime Adventures''. Now he's actually going on to make appearances in multiple video games the Best Friends have backed via crowdfunding, including playable appearances in ''VideoGame/{{Divekick}}'' and ''VideoGame/KaijuCombat'', and as a special boss in ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight'' and ''Pocket Rumble'', as well as becoming a member of the ''Machinima/VideoGameChampionshipWrestling'' roster.
