Disabled Means Helpless: Lamel is so crippled that he needs an entire team of doctors just to help him blink.

Punny Name: The name "Lamel" might be a joke on the fact that he's crippled or "Lame".
Sarcasm Mode: Lamel makes a lot of comments like this.
