Dylan Will Delteana (ディラン・ウィル・デルティアナ Diran Wiru Derutiana)
The main male protagonist. Dylan is the son of Glocken Will Delteana and the crown prince of Delteana.
- Luke, I Am Your Father: He receives a version of this from Radius, being told that they're long-lost twin brothers.
Phara Mir Celestia (ファラ・ミール・セレスティア Fara Mīru Seresutia)
The main female protagonist. Phara is the daughter of Novice Won Celestia and princess of Celestia.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She is a blonde girl taught by Novice to treat everyone as equals, and she spares some of her enemies in war, too. It also turns out she's actually a reincarnate of Fahlight, one of the three goddesses of Runeheim, though she isn't aware of this until the end.
- Princesses Prefer Pink: Much of her garment is pinkish, especially her bracelet, gauntlet and dress. Oh, and she's also a princess.
Muu-Muu (ムームー Muumuu)
Garrit (ガーリット Gaaritto)
Phara's loyal bodyguard who isn't on good terms with Dylan since childhood. Also formerly one of Novice's elite bodyguards prior to his death.
- Fantastic Racism: His species was persecuted by the Delteana empire, and is a jerkass towards Dylan early in the game because of this and the fact that he once insulted Garrit's race with unpleasant names as a kid. His attitude treatment towards Dylan eventually gets better, though.
- Nice Guy: To Phara. This is mainly because of his lifetime gratitude to her for saving him from Novice's punishment when he snuck in to steal some food due to being an orphaned street urchin ten years prior. He even willingly accepts Novice's offer to become one of Celestia's knights to have a better life and protect Phara.
- People of Hair Color: Garrit's species has provided him with green medium-length hair, which he ties into a braid.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Averted. The red eyes are his species' natural genetic traits.
Sotina Roanz (ソティナ・ローンズ Sotina Rōnzu)
- Cute Clumsy Girl / The Klutz: She may be book-smart, but her directional and time senses are so terrible the protagonists worry for her safety when she leaves to go home after attending Dylan's farewell party... which already ended the night before she showed up.
Fang (ファング Fangu)
Also called the 'One-Winged Lancasta' due to his cut wing. A carefree guy who seeks the thrill of flying and, well, girls. He is also Luga's right-hand partner and helps manage the Roan Grand resistance group.
- People of Hair Color: Fang's species has characteristic green hair color. His hair has a yellowish hue on the top ends, though.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Averted. The red eyes are his species' natural genetic traits.
Luga-Naga (ルーガ・ナーガ Ruuga Naaga)
The leader of the Roan Grand resistance group, and is noted for being sisterly. She is a Lancasta-human half so she lacks the wings, red eyes, and has partial black hair. She also enjoys tea.
- People of Hair Color: She is of the same species as Fang and Garrit, but is a half-human so she has partial black hair and lacks the red eyes.
Ellenadita Clevertink (エルナディータ・クレバーチンク Erunadiita Kurebaatinku)
A spunky noblewoman from Delteana who has the hots for Dylan and does several odd hobbies like flower-arranging and knife-throwing for the intention of marriage. Outside her fiery exterior however, she has a sweet personality.
- Pimped-Out Dress: Her dress is somewhat fancy and noble-ish to bring into battle. She also has to drag the rims of the skirt up to her knees whenever she has to run. Even her exclusive ultimate armor is a Wedding Dress.
Seitz Endorge (ザイツ・エンドージ Zaitsu Endōji)
Noin Won Celestia (ノイン・ウオソ・セレスティア Noin Won Seresutia)
Noin is the son of Novice Won Celestia, and is prince of Celestia.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: The actions that were initially presented as him having Four Eyes, Zero Soul were actually due to being subjected to this by Granado.
- Four Eyes, Zero Soul: After returning to Celestia after 10 years, Phara suspects something seems off with Noin, and it appears he sided with the Empire's invasion plan, and even killed Novice without any second thoughts, and becomes psychopathic. However, it later turns out to be a case of Brainwashed and Crazy.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: What he was as a kid. Also his true personality all along.
Novice Won Celestia (ノービス・ウオソ・セレスティア Nobisu Wonu Seresutia)
Novice is the king of Celestia, and also the father of Noin and Phara. At some point he had taken Delteana's prince, Dylan, under his wing to settle disputes between the kingdoms of Delteana and Celestia.
Glocken Will Delteana (グロッケン・ウィル・デルティアナ Gurokken Wiru Derutiana)
