Raphael the Infernape

Born in the depths of Iron Island, Raphael was raised around a clan of metalworkers and blacksmiths. Life in solitude was going well for him until a greedy, Xiav-driven Rhyperior of the clan decided to betray everyone and ravage everything on Iron Island to make the territory his own. Afterwards, Raphael honed his skills of craftsmanship through street performing and alchemy. From his talents, his popularity rose, and the secret organization called the Brotherhood of Sonne had called him to fight against a new and rising threat called the Order of Xiav. Ever since his joining, his skills and talents exceed any normal warrior, and his soul-searching, self-analyzing quest has lead him to believe that the Xiav were responsible for tearing his childhood apart. He lives and fights with four other comrades in order to achieve their self-perceived goals of truly destroying the Order and ultimately regaining peace to all regions.

Years had passed as Raphael fought valiantly alongside various Sonne soldiers, who eventually departed ways. He made friends with a clan of Braviery, and created an alliance with New Bark Town's base. However, all of his actions and deeds were deemed useless as the Xiav slowly crept over the once thriving region of Johto, causing Raphael and the remainder of his team to flee.

Raphael was initially a character who valued tradition and did his best to stay away from modern technology. His subservient and trustworthy manner is apparent to everyone around him, but no one knows that beneath his heart lies an unbridled rage that can erupt at a given time. However, as time passed, his anger issue became more evident as the times grew harsher and the war began to close in on other regions. From his painful experiences and purges through inexplicable pain, he notices that the Xiav are nothing more than roadblocks, tools of ignorance that wish to stop the cycle of progress in order to utilize it for themselves, and for the Shadow Armeggedon.

Raphael prefers to use old honorifics rather than military jargon. He is played by Primal Crusader V.

Richard the Mienfoo

Thibault the Aromatisse

The lost king of a tribe called the Toriningen-Yosei, a small but influential ethnic group of Aromatisse that worshipped Xerneas and formerly resided in Laverre City, but were killed off by Xiav cultists making a point due to their ties to the Brotherhood. He is married to Esme. Played by Ginger Dixie.

  • The Alcoholic: Has an unfortunate weakness to the drink, especially bourbon and wines.

Esme the Aromatisse

A Yoseiian priestess who had taken to the clerical life when her mother sent her away to the Brotherhood in an attempt to protect her from the Xiav attack on the tribe. She is married to Thibault. Played by Ginger Dixie.

  • Break the Cutie: Definitely achieved by Eris.
  • Heroic BSoD: Goes through one after Eris kills her egg during her torture session.
  • Empty Shell: Has temporarily become one due to recent events. See the Fate Worse Than Death entry.
  • Fate Worse than Death: She gets captured with all of her fellow female clerics by Xiav sleeper agents and sent to Sinnoh for Eris's...erm, personal pleasure. During her exchange with the cultist leader, it's revealed that Eris and Esme knew each other due to them living in the same city at some point, so while Eris ends up raping, killing and eating the rest of the prisoners, what does she do to Esme? She bites her face, kills her unborn child, rapes her, and films the whole damn thing, and then gives her a copy of the recording to take home and show all of the Sonne. Understandably, she's not going to be the same after this.
  • The Pollyanna: Starts out as this.

Dr. Valentine the Gardevoir
