Rubble

Grandpa Gravel

Voiced by: Martin Roach

Grandpa Gravel is Rubble’s grandpa, the family kibble chef who supplies the team with snacks from his tasty food truck.

• Cool Old Guy: An old dog who's friendly and fun.
• Team Chef: He keeps the team fed with food from his truck.

Auntie Crane

Voiced by: Sabrina Jalees

Auntie Crane is Rubble’s auntie, who runs the supply warehouse and makes sure all the pups are loaded up and ready to build.

• Hidden Depths: In addition to being an aunt, mother, and construction pup, Auntie Crane is an excellent skateboarder.
• Nephewism: Averted. While Rubble and most of the crew are cousins and Auntie Crane’s nieces and nephews, Motor is her daughter.

Mix

Voiced by: Shazdeh Kapadia

Mix is a construction chemist handling all things concrete, glue, cement and custom paints.

Wheeler

Voiced by: Liam McKenna

Wheeler is the clean machine for this Builder Cove team, who does not like to get dirty and bolts away to clean up every mess.

• Catchphrase: "My truck is filled, time to build".
• Expy: To Rocky, an introverted Smart Guy driving a truck with a large carrying capacity.
• Happily Adopted: Implied, due to being the only member of the family to not be a bulldog. Despite not being the same breed as the others, he is treated no different from them, and wholeheartedly considers them to be his family.
• Pungeon Master: frequently makes puns, rhymes, and other assorted wordplay much to Charger’s amusement.
• The Smart Guy

Charger

Voiced by: Alessandro Pugiotto

Charger is a big energy pup (especially when he gets a case of the zoomies!) who is kind and always eager to help out or dig into a new construction project.

• Actually Pretty Funny: Gets a big chuckle out of Wheeler's puns.
• Artificial Limbs: His left rear leg is missing and was replaced by a prosthetic.
• Expy: To Marshall, an excitable pup wearing red who's prone to physical comedy.
• Keet: Extremely energetic and playful.

Motor

Voiced by: Alberta Bolan

Motor is the tiniest and youngest pup who is a valuable member of the construction crew and looking for ways to be a good helper with her power smash-it energy.

• The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest of the Crew.
• Hates Baths
• Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Operates a wrecking ball despite being the youngest and least mature of member of the crew.
• Third-Person Person: Exclusively refers to herself by name rather than using "I" or "me".

Citizens of Builder Cove

Mayor Greatway

Voiced by: Leslie Adlam

The mayor of Builder Cove and Mayor Goodway's sister.

• Ambiguously Brown: Subverted. While her sister Mayor Goodway played this trope straight, Mayor Greatway is pretty clearly a black woman.
• Cool Bike: Loves to make a big entrance on her motorcycle with Mr. Ducky-Doo in the sidecar.
• Hartman Hips: Especially in comparison to her sister, Mayor Greatway's hips are surprisingly big, which is notably on display in some scenes, and when she participates the wiggle and wag victory dance with Rubble and his family in some episodes.
• Supreme Chef: Makes the best chili in Builder Cove.

Mr. Ducky-Doo

Mayor Greatway's pet duck.

Speed Meister

Voiced by: Cory Doran

Speed Meister, who runs the rival construction company in town along with his slow-moving villainous sidekick, Mr. McTurtle — together they build fast and sorta good.

• Expy: Speed Meister's character design appears to be similar to Waluigi from the Mario franchise, he also has the signature purple color as him.
• Fake Ultimate Hero: Steals materials and builds shoddy construction in order to claim the title of “Hero of Builder Cove”.
• His Own Worst Enemy: His insistence on completing constructions as fast as possible (with little attention paid to design or safety) means his creations often fall apart.
• Lean and Mean
