General
- Ax-Crazy: Every member is involved with the kidnapping and murder of several people.
- Would Hurt a Child: Nobody seems to find any issue with sacrificing a little girl.
Mama
Played by Jackie Nicoll
- Evil Matriarch: As far as we know she is the one to first start the tradition of human sacrifice and Satan worship in the family.
Cynthia
Played by Robin Walsh
- Back Stab: Nancy sneaks up behind her and slits her throat with a scythe.
- Bring Him to Me: She makes her siblings to all the dirty work in terms of kidnapping.
- Cop Killer: Fatally stabs Nancy's father who is a cop.
- Creepy Child: The opening scene shows Cynthia as a little girl with a pentagram painted on her head sacrificing the girl they found in the bear trap.
- Hearing Voices: It's implied that she can hear her mother's voice beyond the grave.
- Silent Treatment: Does not speak at all to Nancy when Nancy runs into their house expecting safety from the two "cops" chasing her. Instead she keeps playing her card games and points Nancy to the door.
- Straight Man: Seems to be the smartest out of the bunch and makes her brothers do all of the dirty work. Also claims to have special powers.
Cyrus
Played by David Marchick
- Cop Killer: Seems to be the one who killed the cops that Luke and Abraham stole the uniforms from.
- Decapitation Presentation: Cuts off the head of a dead cop in front of Nancy.
- Evil Laugh: He's always laughing non-stop.
- I Love the Dead: It isn't exactly clear whether The murder or rape came first when he kills Sandra since we don't exactly see her die.
- Mental Handicap, Moral Deficiency: He appears to have some sort of disorder though exactly what it is is unclear. He does however, seem to be the most violent member of his family.
- Put the "Laughter" in "Slaughter": Commits brutal acts while laughing maniacally.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: While not seen it is heavily implied that he assaulted Sandra.
- The Brute: The Biggest out of his siblings and the most violent.
Abraham
Played by John Amplas
- Dehumanizing Insult: Calls Nancy "poochie" while calling calling her over to him like a dog.
- Killer Cop: Seems to be so at first however, It's nothing but a disguise.
- Lean and Mean: Pretty skinny and a total Jerkass.
- Police Brutality: unnecessarily cruel to Hank and Tom. Though this is because he's actually not a cop.
- Sadist: He seems to enjoy mentally tormenting his victims more than the rest of his siblings.
Luke
Played by Greg Besnak
- Bald of Evil: Very bald and is involved in murder and kidnapping.
- Bludgeoned to Death: Almost. He ends up still being alive.
- Impersonating an Officer: He and his brother Abe both do this.
- Kill It with Fire: Gets set ablaze by Nancy in the ending.
- Momma's Boy: He's very meek when speaking to his mother and is very willing to go find more victims for her approval.
- Police Brutality: unnecessarily cruel to Hank and Tom. Though this is because he's actually not a cop.
Other
Nancy Johnson
Played by Melanie Verlin
- Birdcaged: Or rather, Dog-Kenneled.
- Final Girl: Not a traditional final girl as she has had premarital sex and engaged in petty theft but she's still the last one standing.
- Survival Mantra: Continuously prays when she finds herself in a hopeless situation despite others telling her that nothing will happen and has faith that she'll be saved.
Hank and Tom
Both:
- Justified Criminal: Both of them steal groceries in order to survive (Nancy also helps).
Hank:
Played by C. Anthony Jackson
- Boom, Headshot!: The killing blow.
- Gut Feeling: He initially has a bad feeling about picking up Nancy believing she may be a Hostile Hitchhiker
- In the Back: He's first shot from behind but the death blow is to the head.
Tom:
Played by John Hall
- Attack on the Heart: He's shot in the chest.
- Get It Over With: Says this to one of the cops.
Bert Johnson
Played by Lawrence Tierney
- Asshole Victim: Due to the fact he attempts to rape his step-daughter, he certainly will not be missed.
- Parental Incest: Attempts to force himself onto his step-daughter.
