Protagonist and Heroines
Shingo Uryuu
- Voiced by: Takahiro Mizushima (anime/drama CD)
A second-year from Kagamidai Academy who was transferred to Yuihime Girls' Academy Class 2-T as a "test student."
- Chick Magnet: Even outside of the heroines, there were apparently girls who wanted to join the Nuko Club in an attempt to get closer to him, much to Sana's disgust. Shingo himself has no idea how to react to this information.
- Nice Guy: He's a kind and hardworking guy, which endeared him to the girls at his new school soon enough.
Airi Sena
- Voiced by: Ryōko Ono
A girl serving as the class representative of Class 2-T at Yuihime Girls' Academy.
- Childhood Friends: With Sana.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: She was very much against the merging of Kagamidai Academy and Yuihime, and starts out not wanting anything to do with the guys, but eventually comes around to them.
- Does Not Like Men: As previously mentioned, she did not like the idea of boys attending the same school as her.
Sakuno Uryuu
- Voiced by: Mai Goto
Shingo's younger step-sister who transferred to Class 1-T at Yuihime.
- Huge Schoolgirl: Despite being the youngest of the heroines, she's also the tallest, making her the polar opposite of Miu.
- Transfer Student Uniforms: As she attended Kagamidai Academy with her brother, she continues to wear her old school uniform at Yuihime.
Angelina Nanatsu Sewell
- Voiced by: Oma Ichimura
A "wandering maid" in Shingo's class who tries to help the students from Kagamidai Academy get used to Yuihime.
- In-Series Nickname: She's mostly referred to as "Ange."
- Nice Girl: She's a complete sweetheart, who stands out from most of the girls at Yuihime by helping the transfer students get better adjusted to their new school.
- Non-Uniform Uniform: She wears a maid uniform in place of the school's uniform.
Miu Amaha
- Voiced by: Noriko Rikimaru
A third year student at Yuihime and the president of the "Nuko Club," which takes care of injured wild animals.
- Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: She's the Tsukkomi to her mother's Boke, much to Shingo's shock.
- Friend to All Living Things: It's to be expected of a girl who would create a club that cares for wild animals in hopes of returning them to the wild.
- Nice Girl: She's a real ray of sunshine, who was kind to Shingo right from the start.
Sana Inui
- Voiced by: Mayumi Yoshida
A student in Class 2-T of Yuihime and a member of the Nuko Club.
- Breakout Character: She started out as supporting character in the original PC game, but taking the 1st place spot in the popularity poll lead to her getting her own route in the PSP game. Said route would wind up getting an expansion into the Sana Edition more than a decade later.
- Childhood Friends: With Airi.
- Does Not Like Men: Considers boys to be like "cockroaches," though unlike Airi, she did try to help them feel welcome at first. In particular, she claims that Shingo is "lower than a cockroach," not helped by how he gets along well with Miu, who Sana adores.
Yutsuki Onomiya
- Voiced by: Hiroko Taguchi
A second-year student at Yuihime in a different class from Shingo, and a member of the Drama Club.
- The Cameo: She made a brief appearance in the anime's last episode.
- Put on a Bus: Somewhat justified, as she was created for the PSP version of the game. Due to the amount of work it would take to rewrite each of the original 4 heroines' routes to include her, she completely disappears from the story once the common route ends (outside of her own route, of course).
Supporting Characters
Hayata Mukunashi
- Voiced by: Tatsuhisa Suzuki
A friend of Shingo's from Kagamidai Academy who also became a "test student" of Yuihime Class 2-T.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Played for laughs; he declares Shingo to be his enemy whenever Shingo's popularity rares its head.
- Student Council President: Held the position at his old school. At Yuihime, he instead serves as the vice-president.
Machi Yatsuzuka
Ranka Sena
Yuiko Amaha
- Voiced by: Michiru Yuimoto
Miu's mother and a friend of Ranka's.
- Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: The Boke to her daughter's Tsukkomi.
- Mum Looks Like a Sister: She's quite happy to hear Shingo mistake her as Miu's older sister, and sometimes refers to herself as such even after the mistake was cleared.
- The Tease: She takes great amusement in making flirty comments towards Shingo, much to Miu's frustaration. For example, when Shingo says she looks quite young...Yuiko: Oh my. If you say stuff like that, I'll have take you as my groom!Miu: You already have a groom! Dad would cry if he heard you right now!
