Izuku Midoriya is an aspiring hunter and fanboy who dedicated his life to becoming one alongside his best friend Jaune. He is normally kind and caring but shy around others and very strategical, however he is sometimes shown to be daring and determined. He is the leader of team IFMS and his partner is Shoto.His Semblance is called Forge and it allows him to transform dust onto any weapon of his choice. He wields Zandaka, a black katana that can morph into a sub-machine gun.- Adaptational Superpower Change: Rather than getting a Semblance like One For All, he has the ability to create weapons from dust.

Fumikage Tokoyami Bird Faunus who is very quiet and serious. However, he is a noble person who cares for all people and is dedicated to his goals.His quirk, Dark Shadow, is a sentient Semblance that takes the form of a shadow-like bird monster that seems like the opposite of Fumikage in terms of personality, but is his closest companion. His power grows depends on how dark is surroundings are. He wields a bow and arrow that can be charged with dust for different effects.- Dark Is Not Evil: He is a good guy despite being wearing mostly dark colors. Dark Shadow even more so as he looks like a monster to some people.

Mina Ashido is a "cute quirky girl" who is constantly in a cheery mood. She's upbeat, hyperactive, loves to dance, and is a bit of a tease. She is part of Team IFMS and her partner is Fumikage.She weilds a grappling hook that can transform into a blade as well as pistols on her boots that fire every time she kicks. Her Semblance, Acid Touch, allows her to melt anything she touches like acid, though it does take some time.- Dance Battler: She uses dance moves to fight a majority of the time.

Weapon: Dual Chakram Revolvers
Shoto Todoroki comes from a family of hunters, both his father and eldest brother, and as was inspired by All Might to become one as well. He has a mostly stoic personality, but underneath that is a determined and caring person. He is part of team IFMS and his partner is Izuku.His weapon of choice are two spiked chakrams with a fire and ice design that can be used for close and long range attacks and also shoot dust from the revolver end on one of the spikes. His Semblance, Half-Hot Half-Cold, allows him to powerup fire dust with his left side and ice dust with his right.Curb-Stomp Battle: Inverted. Despite him acting like he was guaranteed to win, and he did win, Ruby gave him a good challenge during their battle.

Ruby is a gifted combat student who is admitted to the elite Beacon Academy two years ahead of her class. She is cheerful, optimistic and dreams of protecting the people and making the world a better place. She is the leader of Team RWBY, Yang's younger sister, and her team partner is Weiss.Ruby fights with Crescent Rose, a large scythe that can transform into a high-velocity sniper rifle. Her Semblance is called "Petal Burst", allowing her to move at super-human speeds that leaves behind a cloud of rose petals.

Weapon: Myrtenaster
Weiss is a member of the super-wealthy Schnee family, owners of the Schnee Dust Company megacorporation. As per her station in life, she is graceful, well-mannered and highly trained in etiquette, but can also come across as haughty and aloof.Her weapon is Myrtenaster, a rapier with a revolving chamber that allows her to use many different types of Dust. Her Semblance is "Glyphs", allowing her to generate Instant Runes that allow her to perform a variety of effects ranging from augmenting speed or defying gravity to summoning ice-clones of the foes she's slain in battle.
- Academic Alpha Bitch: A whole list. First, she complains to yells at Ruby for accidentally bumping into her and nearly blowing them up. Then she's constantly annoyed with Ruby for being immature despite being the leader and thinks she deserves it. Finally, after talking with Izuku, she instead goes stops trying to be the leader and tries to "fix" Ruby as the leader and gains bad blood from Yang, who she partly blames for Ruby's personality.

Weapon: Gambol Shroud
A mysterious, quiet, no-nonsense young woman, Blake doesn't easily open up to others and is fond of reading. She was the first to appear with full-fledged voice acting in her trailer, as well as the first to be partnered with another character, Adam. Her team partner is Yang.Her weapon is Gambol Shroud, a katana with a gun attached to it. The trigger is attacked to a ribbon, allowing her to use it as a chain-weapon. The sheathe resembles an oversized cleaver and can be used as a weapon in its own right. Her Semblance is "Shadow" and allows her to create shadow clones that enable Blake to dodge attacks and misdirect her foes.

Ruby's older sister, Yang is an energetic blonde-haired woman with an adventurous personality and a violent streak. She is proud of her baby sister's achievement in being advanced two years and her team partner is Blake.Yang's weapon is Ember Celica, a pair of retractable gauntlets that can fire shotgun shells. Her Semblance is called "Burn" and allows her to absorb the energy from the blows that strike her body and convert it to dramatically enhance her strength.
- Hot-Blooded: Despite her usually chill demeanor, even she admits that she has a very bad temper when something upsets her.

Tenya Iida is a very astute young man from Atlas who has trained his whole life to being a hunter. He is very strict, dedicated and upholds all rules. He is the leader of Team TEKD and his partner is Denki.His Semblance, Shift Gear, allows him to run really fast and build up more speed the longer he runs. His weapon of choice are tonfas which can be fired as guns from the ends.- Comically Serious: Not so much him, but how his seriousness affects his teammates is mostly played for laughs.

Weapon: Gauntlets
Eijiro Kirishima is a very bright and boisterous person who prides himself on being a defender of others. He has a big heart that lets him befriend almost anyone, even more unpleasant people. He is a member of Team TEKD and his partner is Katsuki.His gauntlets extend around his hands to punch harder and fire bullets. His Semblance, Hardening, allows him to harden his body and anything his aura flows through, allowing him to be a sturdy tank and a deadly weapon at once.- The Heart: He's constantly tries to be upbeat and befriend his teammates, even Katduki.

Katsuki Bakugo can be described as loud, abrasive, arrogant, and the single most angriest person in the world. He aims to be the strongest huntsman in the world and has the skill and determination to follow through. He is a member of Team TEKD and his partner is Eijiro.- Born Winner: He thinks himself as this and gets consistently angry at anything that challenges this notion.

Denki Kaminari is a generally lacks person who's not very bright. But he's still a nice guy and pleasant to be around. He is amember of Team TEKD and his partner is Tenya.His Semblance is Thunder Charge, allowing him to amplify lightning dust tenfold. His weapon is a transforming sword/crossbow that allows him to slice or fire with dust properties.- Casanova Wannabe: Tries to get with Yang upon first meeting her. Gets socked in the face before getting rejected.

Jaune is the childhood friend of Izuku and comes from a long line of esteemed warriors and came to Beacon Academy to follow in their footsteps. He is the leader of Team JNPR and his team partner is Pyrrha.His equipment is called Crocea Mors and was handed down to him from his great-great-grandfather. The shield can collapse into a sheath to carry the sword that it's paired with.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Despite multiple attempts from multiple people, he refuses to get any help in getting stronger, thinking he has to do it himself to be a hero.

Weapon: Miló and Akoúo̱
A famous, world-class athelete and tournament fighter, Pyrrha is a star student who had already won the Mistral Tournament four times prior to joining Beacon Academy. Her partner is Jaune.Pyrrha's weapons are called Miló and Akoúo̱, and consist of a shield, and a weapon that is able to change form between a pilum (Heavy Javelin), xiphos (Short Sword) and a hunting rifle. Her Semblance, "Polarity", gives her telekinetic control over metal.

Nora joined Beacon Academy with her childhood friend, Ren, who is also her team partner. She is an excitable, energetic girl with great strength and a big heart.Her weapon is Magnhild, a multi-shot Grenade Launcher capable of converting into a large war hammer. Her Semblance, "High Voltage", lets her absorb electricity to enhance her body, making her stronger and faster for a brief time.
- Blood Knight: Very much enjoys violence. Grimm, ride it before smashing it. Bully, break their legs.

Ren joins Beacon Academy with his childhood friend, Nora, who becomes his team partner. He's quiet, reserved and prone to bottling his emotions.His weapons are called Storm Flower, a pair of green guns with collapsible curved blades under the barrels. His Semblance, "Tranquility", allows him to dampen down emotions, making himself and his targets invisible to the negativity-sensing Grimm
- The Stoic: Alongside Shoto and Fumikage, Ren is shown to be stoic around others.

Eri is a young Gazelle Faunus who lost her horn in a Grimm attack before she was saved by Izuku Midoriya. Afterwards, she was adopted into the Midoriya Family. While the whereabouts of her original family is unknown, she much more prefers her current one, and is especially attached to her new brother. She is very cute and innocent and, despite her shy demeanor, loves attention.- Baby Of The Bunch: She is literally this in any group she's apart of.
- Cuteness Proximity: She's so cute that no one, not even the stoic Weiss, can resist her cuteness.
