* KickTheSonOfABitch: She's first introduced in the end of episode 14, just about to face off against Overboss Danton. The next episode opens up with her having killed him and then turning on the raider population of Nuka-World.

* WickedCultured: He uses a lot of quotations from English literature, mostly Shakespeare and the poem "Tyger, Tyger!"... and he does it all with the same [[GutturalGrowler guttural]] [[NoIndoorVoice incessant screaming]] of any Super Mutant.

** [[spoiler:He refers to Joshua as being [[ButHeSoundsHandsome ruggedly handsome and kind-hearted young man]]. He also comments that Joshua was "a bit terse in those days", implying that Joshua became ''a lot'' more talkative later on, which is one of the Storyteller's defining traits]].

** [[spoiler:He previously mentioned that he doesn't like to talk about himself, which would explain why he wouldn't reveal he was Joshua, and why he wouldn't outright state if the Chosen One is male or female if he knew (as it would require him to explain ''how'' he knew)]].

** [[spoiler:He met President Tandi when she was around 100 years old. Tandi died around 7 years after Fallout 2, and the Brotherhood's isolationism mixed with her importance means he likely would have had to have been at least a young adult at the time he met her]].

* PinocchioSyndrome: He is very proud of his genetic source and one of his goals was to clone a new body with the Vault Dweller's DNA to transplant his brain into it.

* WeaponOfChoice: Initially, a [[HandCannon Sequoia]] [[RevolversAreJustBetter Revolver]], but eventually replaced by Daisy. [[spoiler:After rebuilding Daisy as a cyberdog, she reverts to her Sequoia Revolver.]]

* {{Flanderization}}: With his one appearance in Season 1, the Nuka-Junkie wasn't nearly as crazy as he was when he came back in Season 2 - he's polite when asking the Storyteller where Nuka Cola comes from (although a little annoyed that [[RamblingOldManMonologue he blabbered about everything in the wasteland BUT Nuka Cola]] ''[[UpToEleven for FOUR HOURS]]''), and when the Storyteller disappears, he only keeps his Nuka Cola from the third man at the campfire away from the Nuka Cola because he fought several Raiders to get it, without a hint that he was in an actual addiction. Granted, [[UnexplainedRecovery somehow surviving getting shot by the third man]] ([[DisproportionateRetribution all so he could steal the Nuka Cola he wanted]]), [[SanitySlippage and/or his Nuka Cola addiction just getting worse and worse]], and it might explain why he's [[BiggerStick holding the Storyteller at Rocket Launcher, and then FATMAN-point]], [[BrickJoke all to finally get the explanation of Nuka Cola he wanted from the start]].

* NotSoDifferent: Has a burning hatred for the Chosen One and is always quick to deride him, yet they share several similarities: Both carry around a plasma rifle (not a common weapon), both drive a Chrysler (possibly the same one the Chosen One used), both have adventures with a diverse ragtag party, and both has been to many of the same places as the Chosen One (possibly deliberate, as he's searching for him). [[spoiler:Also, he ends up being killed by the clone of the Chosen One's ancestor.]]

* BadassGrandpa[=/=]CoolOldGuy: He's been around and done a lot of adventuring himself, and is no less capable in a fight than the PoweredArmor-clad adventurer or the elite NCR Ranger.

* OneWomanArmy: Is introduced after massacring all of the raiders in Nuka-World. [[Underestimatingbadassery Which somehow isn't enough for Tanner to take her very seriously.]]

* {{Irony}}: Is defeated after [[BreakTheMonsterByTalking being informed of a critical error in his plans causes him]] to have a VillainousBreakdown, the same way the real Vault Dweller could have defeated the Master.

* CompletelyMissingThePoint: Somewhat justified, in that his brain is addled from succumbing to cola addiction, but he completely fails to understand anything that doesn't relate to Nuka-Cola. Most prominently, when the Storyteller talks to him about "the prize" of Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Caps, he immediately leaps to the conclusion that it must be a vaultful of some sort of "Sarsaparilla Quantum", an analogue to the experimental Nuka-Cola variant that was only just shipped out before the bombs dropped two centuries ago. Likewise, he can't understand why Sunset Sarsaparilla was founded, because the idea of people wanting to drink something different to Nuka-Cola is unthinkable to him.

* MistakenIdentity: She initially believes that Ranger Tanner and the Storyteller are the last raiders of Nuka-World.

* * TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler: In episode 15 of season 4, the Storyteller helps Ranger Tanner rebuilds her as a heavily armored and menacing-looking cyberdog.]]

* CoolOldGuy: He's been around and done a lot of adventuring himself, and is no less capable in a fight than the PoweredArmor-clad adventurer or the elite NCR Ranger.
