Noel's Sprite
The chef of the commune.
- Animal Motifs: Bears. Alongside having a bear plush, Noel is compared to a bear in the game.
- Exhausted Eyebags: Drawn with dark undereye circles in official artwork.
- Gentle Giant: Muscular but very quiet and reserved.
- The Quiet One: When approached at the welcome party, Noel is almost completely quiet and reserved.
Mona
Mona's Sprite
An artist waiting to make her magnum opus.
- Animal Motifs: Spiders.
- Bizarre Taste in Food: Mona is found making strange concoctions and combinations of food when found in the kitchen.
- Black Widow: Heavy visual spider motifs combined with multiple warnings from other characters.

- Nonconformist Dyed Hair: The developers said that multiple characters in the cast have dyed hair.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Mona's red-ringed eyes are complimented with the warnings both Vein and the player's consciousness announce when meeting her.
Sorin
Sorin's Sprite
A self-proclaimed prince.
- Antiquated Linguistics: Speaks in eloquent, old-fashioned English.
- Pretty Boy: The player finds Sorin beautiful when first meeting him.
Mary
Mary's Sprite
A strange girl with a changing name.
- Humans Are Bastards: Mary's ideology is observed within the first moments of meeting her. She believes that humans and society are, at their core, violent and conniving structures.
- I Have Many Names: Mary changes her name multiple times in Act 1.
Tempest
Tempest's Sprite
A musician with a star-studded past.
- Asshole Victim: Many unfortunate things happen to Tempest within the game, but it is usually brushed off as comedic due to his personality.
- Nonconformist Dyed Hair: The developers said that multiple characters in the cast have dyed hair.
- The Rock Star: Tempest was a rockstar before coming to the commune.
Vein
Vein's Sprite
A bubbly party planner.
- Metaphorically True: When the player asks about her past at the welcome party, Vein twists what happened in her past.

Charlie
Charlie's Sprite
A cheerful gardener.
- Accidental Murder: If the player interrupts Charlie on December 7th, he will accidentally swing his body with his hedgeclipper, killing them.
- Animal Motifs: Golden Retreivers.
- Hunk: He is also called a hunk in a secret achievement on the Steam version of the game.

Assistant to Drew.
- Exhausted Eyebags: Drawn with dark undereye circles in official artwork.
- I Have Many Names: In [CARSON]'s introduction, it is implied that they have been called different names before coming to the commune.
