Professor Raymond Knowby
Voiced by: Jim Pirri
Annie's father and Henrietta's husband, and the college professor and archaeologist who discovered the Kandarian Dagger and Necronomicon. His research on the forbidden tome accidentally summoned a Kandarian Demon into the mortal plane, which has to be banished by the Survivors. For tropes related to him in the films and Ash vs. Evil Dead, see Evil Dead - The Cabin.
- Adaptational Heroism: Played with, in that his game counterpart is more in line with how he's portrayed in the first two films and ignoring the events of Ash vs. Evil Dead entirely.
- The Atoner: His supporting of the Survivors is meant to be a means to make up for the damage he caused by summoning the demon and the Dark Ones in the first place.
- Mission Control: He serves as this for the Survivors, and directs them to their objectives.
Deadite Linda
Voiced by: Betsy Baker
Ash's former girlfriend who he was forced to kill at the cabin, or perhaps a demon masquerading as her. She serves as a guiding voice to the Kandarian Demon, making sure the evil is going to triumph over humanity. For tropes related to her in the films and Ash vs. Evil Dead, see Evil Dead - The Cabin.
- Bad Boss: She berates the player if the survivors reach an objective. The cannon fodder Deadites also don't seem too fond of her either, and may occasionally refer to her as a lousy boss.
- Mission Control: She serves as this for the Demon, and directs them to their objectives.
- The Unfought: Deadite Linda is technically the Final Boss of the first extra Mission, where Ash has to go dig up her head and plop it into the vise in the tool shed to put her down for real. In the mission proper, the player actually fights her minions instead.
