The Greevolve

     In General
These malevolent, shapeshifting, power-copying entities haunt Passione throughout their campaign. In addition to causing mayhem wherever they go, the Greevolve have taken an interest in the ceremonial artifacts associated with the Champion's Challenge.
     Roid the Red
Roid is the first commander of the Greevolve that Passione meets on their journey. He's a bruiser, pure and simple, with an especially grotesque, utilitarian body type best suited for physical combat.
  • The Brute: Roid is the merciless muscle of the Greevolve's high command, and while he isn't especially stupid, he places far too much value on raw strength for his own good. In his first fight in "The Red Trophy," he focuses all of his attention onto Atlissa, who he perceives as the biggest threat in the room due to her sheer physical power. Roid doesn't account for the two blood hunters in the room, Calum and Ophelia, who pile blood curses onto him. Since Roid lacks a proper answer to magic like this, he's rendered extremely vulnerable throughout the rest of the encounter; he eventually opts to escape once his underlings abscond with the titular Red Trophy.
  • Evil Counterpart: Each Greevolve commander serves as a counterpart to one of the Grandure Grand Champions, with Roid being the answer to Atlissa. Both are titanic, physically strong, and rely on brawn over brains, but unlike Atlissa, Roid has developed an exaggerated, utilitarian body shape to facilitate his power. To wit, so much of him is concentrated into a single, horrifically engorged, muscular arm, with the rest of his body having barely enough mass and strength to support it.

     Tellect the Blue
  • The Heavy: From what is revealed in the campaign proper, Tellect is the single most active Greevolve operative. He not only overlooks the Greevolve's anvilwrought mine operation in the present, but he also has had significant sway over Grandure's history. He helps maintain the Lockheart family's reputation through memory manipulation, thereby facilitating their own schemes with reviving the Black Fang; in return, he outfitted their son, Calum, with a prototype of some technology that he ultimately perfects and applies to his soldiers. He's also responsible for supplying clones of Noirene to her father, who hoped to abuse her beauty to curry favor from other royal families who wanted her as part of them. And this is just what Tellect accomplishes on purpose; he's also responsible for the death of Ash's mother as she knew her, having turned her into an Elder Brain Dragon for his mine operation. This was never an intentional slight; he genuinely had no idea they were mother and daughter until they're forced to fight each other in "The Monster Factory."

Other Recurring Antagonists

     The Terrible Trix Trio

The Terrible Trix Trio (Bonnie, Clyde, and Billy the Kid)

Voiced & Played by: Crafty
Race: Goblin (Bill the Kid)
Class:

The Terrible Trix Trio are a team of crafty thieves that Passione first meets outside of Joughstic. They consist of Bonnie, Clyde, and their tiny companion, Billy the Kid.
  • Expy: The Trix Trio is explicitly based on the Pokémon anime's Team Rocket trio: thieves consisting of a red-themed, impassioned woman, a blue-themed, foppish man, and a tiny, yellowish, wisecracking creature. And not one of them is particularly successful at their schemes. When they first appear in "The Ranger Challenge PT. 1's" recap segment, the original Team Rocket sting briefly plays. What's more, their battle theme—first introduced in "Trickster Trios and Treacherous Turtles"—is none other than the "Team Rocket Battle Theme" from HeartGold & SoulSilver.
  • Goldfish Poop Gang: The Trix Trio, while persistent, aren't especially effective thieves, being mild inconveniences at worst. However, to some members of Passione, that's part of their appeal. Calum explains as much in "Trickster Trios and Treacherous Turtles" to dissuade Jane from killing them; he finds them to be a refreshingly goofy group of antagonists to face in-between much more serious matters.
  • Revenge: The Trio makes a return in "Trickster Trios and Treacherous Turtles," where they are looting Elemix's mailboxes in hopes of finding out where Cera lives. Unmentioned in "The Ranger Challenge PT. 1's" recap segment, Cera had stolen Bonnie's hat as a prize for beating the Trio. Now, Bonnie wishes to reclaim it while getting back at the Champion's Challenge team who humiliated her and her companions back in Joughstic.

Forrnest

     Barry & Harpies

Barry & Harpies

Voiced & Played by: Crafty
Race: Green Dragon (Barry), Harpies

Years before Passione started their journey, Qwill and his old hunting team took on a Green Dragon that had wandered into the darkest depths of Forrnest's swamps. The expedition was a failure, with Qwill being the only survivor; his dead companions' weaponry was assimilated into the dragon's weapon hoard. In the present, this dragon was taken in by a group of harpies, who named this utter terror... Barry.

Elemix

     Captain Raggamuffin

     Primera Crony

Hemoarloch

     The Lockhearts

     The Black Fang

Undercove

     Don Matriarchy
This mysterious Undercove crime lord was responsible for Mondo and Osra's tiefling curse. Due to the nature of her business, she lives an extremely secretive lifestyle and leaves little trace of herself behind. Even so, everyone who knows about Matriarchy recognize her as someone to be feared...
  • The Dreaded: What little is known about Matriarchy paints her as a fearsome presence in Grandure. Osra's mere mention of her name in "Pact or No Pact" sends the gruff, tough as nails Helena into a quiet panic; back when she lived in Undercove, her gang operated near Matriarchy's territory. Recognizing her sheer power and ruthlessness, Helena's gang was forced to steer clear of of Matriarchy at all costs, and the dread of that time in Helena's life has stuck with her ever since.
