- Fighting Your Friend: Michonne is fighting for KorTac, so in Multiplayer, he'll be fighting his wife.
- Not Using the "Z" Word: In MWZ, he refers to the zombies as "walkers" as in the source material, where modern zombie media hadn't been invented.
- Revolvers Are Just Better: Is seen in promotional materials with a custom Basilisk blueprint styled after his iconic Colt Python. He even claims to "miss his revolver" sometimes when reloading a weapon.

- No True Scotsman: Since his childhood, Roland had often felt like an outsider, mostly due to his Polish background leading him to be ridiculed by his French neighbors. This continued on into his military training, always viewed as an oddity by his peers in the French Army.
