Action Mom: She is hardly the damsel in distress that some might be tempted to think of her as. While certainly not as combat competent as many of the other characters in the Asteriverse, that doesn't stop her from taking action to protect her family. Most recently in the Echo and Shimmer RP when Shimmer, Terrato's adoptive father disappeared she tracked him down and bust down the doors to the place he vanished into ready raring and willing to fight.
Boringbut Practical: Echo's magic isn't particularly fancy, or flashy. It can't be used to kill things. Vaporize enemies. Or cause untold amounts of property damage. Echo would be hard pressed to muster up enough force to do much more than lift 50 or 60 kilograms with her TK. Instead her magic is focused on simply finding things. If she has seen it before or knows what it looks like she can find it as long as it is within a 500 meter spherical radius of her. She can find people, objects, things living or dead. Really anything with a concrete physical form. So effective is she with her tracking magic that it allows her to pierce any and all illusions and falsehoods.
Terrato
Ambiguous Innocence: Terrato has... a rather skewed view on morality. Quite a few characters have commented on how, an otherwise nice and cheery kid full of wonder, creepy he can appear with his comments about justice.
Berserk Button: Bug ponies, aka changelings. No questions, he will attempt to skewer you with his horn if you are one and he sees you. If you value your stomach to be without a horn jabbed in it, don't hurt the seemingly weak near him.
Idiot Hero: Despite credit to the colt's enthusiasm in learning, he doesn't seem to be winning many awards for academic pursuits.
Kid Hero: If the verse was slated to be a story, he would be a dead ringer for the spot. Alicorn, Idiot Hero qualities, protective to a fault... Perhaps a great subversion in his circumstances in that Markahz, his 'father', created him as an alicorn for less heroic purposes and his various mental deficiencies likely come from his ritual.
Knight in Shining Armor: What he strives for in his growth and overall actions. Tends to vary in success, his attempts at protecting, saving or comforting others from 'monsters'.
