Miklós Németh
Role: Head of State
Party: Magyar Élet Pártja
Ideology: National Conservatismnote Paternalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show A commoner man, for the commoner man. This is how Miklós Németh is described by those asked, and they are indeed not exaggerating what they say one bit. Born in 1948, in a peasant family, Németh rose into prominence first as a competent economist, joining the MÉP in 1974, then as the de facto leader of the young reformist movement of the party, that overtook the MÉP in 1982 in the aftermath of the Second West Russian War, before he finally ended up being elected the youngest ever Prime Minister of Hungary, in 1987.
He quickly became known for his uncompromising reformism, and his calls for liberalization, secularization and distancing from Germany have striked a deep worry into the heart of the traditionally conservative and religious elites of the country, and the German allies of the Kingdom - but with the blessing of the King, and the support of the people, he is confident he will one day achieve his hopes of a just and truly democratic Hungary, no matter how hard the forces of reaction may try to sabotage his work.
- Smooth Talking Charmer: Miklós has been able to stay in power relatively harmless thanks to his natural ability for public speaking.
Sándor Lezsák
Role: Head of Government
Party: Magyar Élet Pártja
Ideology: National Conservatismnote Paternalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Behind every great dreamer leader is their loyal sidekick, the thankless workhorse of the government, the moderator of their radicalism. For Miklós Németh, this person is Sándor Lezsák. Born in 1949, and working as a village teacher, he was always against the governmental opression on political thought, having been fired from his job in 1985 for his calls for political pluralism. Conservative enough to work within the MÉP, yet a democrat whose dream matches Németh, they have been the harmonic duo, of Hungary ever since 1989, when he joined the MÉP after its democratic reformation.
And the future? He once famously said: “If am no longer needed on my post, then I will leave with dignity, knowing that someone more worthy will step in my place.” Whether Fate will satisfy him by making that person a democrat, or mocks him with a fascist taking his place, we can only wait and see.
Ferenc Kárpáti
Role: Security Minister
Party: Magyar Élet Pártja
Ideology: National Conservatismnote Paternalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Born in 1926 in the city of Putnok, into a family of common workers, Ferenc Kárpáti saw the nature of warfare change so many times in his lifetime, he could hardly even count it. Joinging the Honvédség in 1948, he rose through its ranks with an unprecedented speed, and many speculations arose from his friends, that this man just might be the next leader of the army. He proved them true, as in 1982 he became General, in 84 Field Marshall, and finally in 1987, the Minister of Defense of Németh. He always emphasied the need for a radical modernization of the Army, proposing and implementing the military equipment modernization program dubbed the “Second Győri Program” between 1989 and 93.
Kárpáti is by all means a pragmatic person, with not too much personal love for Germany, but he does “Recognize and appreciate the benefits of military cooperation with the Reich.” As long as the Army stands, protecting the Nation, he does not care too much whether it is a democracy or a dictarorship he protects.
Géza Jeszenszky
Role: Foreign Minister
Party: Magyar Élet Pártja
Ideology: National Conservatismnote Paternalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show A democrat. A minister. A teacher. A writer. Géza Jeszenszky is all that and so much more. Born in 1941, into a noble family, his political beliefs were deeply affected by the German Civil War and the Slave Revolt. His core idea became the thought that oppression will always collapse to make way for liberty - and therefore liberty must be brought to Hungary, for its collapse to be avoided. While many believed that with such an idea, he could by no means become anything in Nazi-dominated Europe, he proved all doubts wrong, when, with an unprecedented strategic move of pragmatism he joined the MÉP in 1976, and then, from the background, he spearheaded the internal reformist movement that led Miklós Németh to his position as Prime Minister.
Taking his well-deserved place by his side as Foreign Minister, Jeszenszky now prepares for his magnum opus: The total liberalization and democratization of Hungary, and its liberation from under the Nazi yoke. His opponents call him a Communist tool, a puppet of the OFN, an Elder of Zion - and he rejoices in it. The slurs and curses of tyrants are music to his ears. They are the signal that he is on the right track. That he will be successful.
György Matolcsy
Role: Economy Minister
Party: Magyar Élet Pártja
Ideology: National Conservatismnote Paternalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show It was said “You cannot serve God and mammon.”, and so when it came to choosing, György Matolcsy chose the latter. Born in 1955 in Budapest, growing up and graduating as an economist from the renown Corvinus University, his name by now has become a synonym of corruption in the government of Hungary. Always supporting and siding with whoever pays more, he made his way into the Ministry of Economy, where he soon became the most valuable asset of Germany.
Uplifted to and kept in his position solely by bribery and the Nazis' support behind him, who see him as a useful tool for subordinating the Hungarian economy, Matolcsy is loathed by every other member of the government, and the entire populace, but he doesn't care for their voices. He only cares about the sweet clinging of money, honeyed words of the grand love of his life.

Radu Vasile
Role: Head of State
Party: Partidul Național Liberal
Ideology: Liberal Agrarianismnote Liberalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Radu Vasile, born in 1942 in Sibiu county, is a Romanian historian, economist, and currently the Prime Minister of Romania. Before his participation in political activities, Radu entered the History University of Bucharest in 1960 and later held his thesis in 1977.
When he joined the National Peasants' Party in 1980, he was enamoured with Rațiu's premiership and his faith in the rights of every citizen, regardless of ethnicity or background. An “underdog” at first, as they would say. But that would not last long however, as Vasile began to gradually rise up within the ranks of the party, starting as the head of a regional department, to public spokesman, and finally a senator in Bacău county. While being a liberal stronghold, the PNL officials found themselves at odds with Vasile on many occasions, mainly over the annual budget and the city administration.
For a few years, the historian kept a low profile within politics, seeing it as a chance to influence liberal and social democratic voters and win their trust, at least during his time in the Senate. In the 1992 election however, Vasile decided to build up his support for Corneliu Coposu's electoral bid, even though he personally did not agree with some of his ideas. After seeing the results in late December, he was excited about being promoted to party vice-secretary. But that enthusiasm would not last forever, as Coposu, determined and persevering as he was, lost his battle with lung cancer on the 11th of November 1995, forcing Vasile to take the helm.
Now, in 1996, Radu hopes to keep the situation as stable as much as he can in order to maintain PNȚ’s dominance in the senate and the polls. Will he live up to his predecessors?
Ion Diaconescu
Role: Head of Government
Party: Partidul Național Țărănesc
Ideology: Left-Wing Agrarianismnote Progressivism
In-Game Biography Click to Show A virtual relic of the pre-war period in Romania, Ion Diaconescu seems to have beaten the test of time. Born in 1917, he is one of the party's strongest and most trustworthy members, even related to the fondly remembered Ion Mihalache.
After the turbulent and corruption-filled 50s, Diaconescu thought that the next decades would be kinder to Romania, and to some degree, he had been proven right. Only after Rațiu's last term did the situation begin to worsen again, leaving the Peasantists to figure out how to minimize the damage the Oil Crisis was doing. All of this, together with the resurgence of the USSR, would mean that the country would need to radically change its economic perception within the Pakt and markets so as not to anger the Reich. A tired Diaconescu now sits as the PNȚ's deputy prime minister, wondering what could possibly come next.
Emil Constantinescu
Role: Foreign Minister
Party: Partidul Național Țărănesc
Ideology: Christian Progressivismnote Progressivism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Born in 1939 in Bessarabia, Emil Constantinescu would go on to live his childhood in Argeș County as his family was forced to flee their hometown after the Soviet Occupation. After finishing highschool, he would go on to be a university professor, specializing in geology. He later joined the PNȚ in 1987, being part of a group comprised of fellow intellectuals interested in politics. In 1991 he would go on a trip together with his colleagues to the United States, part of a research initiative sponsored by the leader of the OFN in order to attract hard-working and fresh scientists.
When Coposu's government was being formed, Constantinescu was suggested multiple times by fellow party members, and the Peasantist leader sought to fulfil the wishes of the congress. As the never-ending German-Soviet rivalry seems to ignite Europe in flames once again, Emil is left wondering what he could do to make Romania's international position more desirable.
Micea Ciumara
Role: Economy Minister
Party: Partidul Național Țărănesc
Ideology: Liberal Agrarianismnote Liberalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Mircea Ciumara was the local PNȚ deputy in Constanța County from 1988 to 1992. A famous economist and academic, Ciumara has shown himself again and again as a more than competent deputy, so much so that he was nominated as the National Peasantist's Minister of Finance after the 1992 election. It was finally time for Mircea to show his expertise. One of his first initiatives was to begin diversifying Romania's exports and opening up more markets for the country, such as Iberia, Italy, and Sweden. More opportunities opened up since the Reich's defeat at the hands of the Russians, which Ciumara knew he had to take advantage of. Economic collaboration with the Republic of Turkey was also one of his interests, as they have been cut from the Middle Eastern black gold for years, something which Romania had an abundance of.
Whether the PNȚ retains the majority or not, it's clear that Ciumara will remain an influential figure on the economic scene.
Gavril Dejeu
Role: Defence Minister
Party: Partidul Conservator-Democratnote Conservative-Democratic Party
Ideology: Conservatismnote Conservatism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Born in the Apuseni mountains, Cluj county, Gavril Dejeu had a mostly normal childhood. That is until the Magyar army occupied his village and mortally wounded his father. He was forced to flee to Sibiu together with his brother, a city in which he would also go to university and get his degree in law school. He would later join the PNȚ in the late 1970s in order to kickstart his law career, however, the more he interacted with the government, the more he would become attracted to politics. In 1992, Gavril was chosen as the Minister of Interior thanks to his strong character. With fervently anti-Hungarian views, he is a vocal advocate for the reclamation of Northern Transylvania, something that every citizen is still unanimously in favour of.
No one shall get past Dejeu, and if they do, they will feel the agony of challenging a lawyer in his own courtroom.

Anatoliy Kaminski
Role: Head of State
Party: Democratic Party of Pridnestrovie
Ideology: Conservatismnote Conservatism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Anatoliy Vladimirovich Kaminski is a man with a storied past. Born in Baley, Eastern Russia in 1950, his time in the country was to be short-lived due to the beginning of the Russian Warlord Era, which had erupted in 1955 following the First West Russian War. His family moved to Romania, where they eventually settled down in Odessa.
Following the end of the Odessa Hostage Crisis, Bucharest had decided it was time to abolish the Transnistria Governorate in favour of an Autonomous Region of Pridnestrovie, with referendums in each Province deciding whether to join Romania or become autonomous. An opportunity finally arrived for Ukrainians to have representation again, which Kaminskiy took advantage of. Initially being a member of the City Council of Balta, he quickly rose through the ranks of the DPP and was elected as Prime Minister of the Pridnestrovie Diet in 1994.
Kaminskiy has the unenviable duty of keeping the peace between Ukrainians, Romanians and the German minority alike, but it is an obligation he will have to fulfill nevertheless.
- Silent Workhorse: With Romania's continued staring gaze Anatoliy has to work twice as hard to prevent angering his overlord. There is no room for error.

Vojislav Šešelj
Role: Head of State
Party: Srpska Narodna Vojska
Ideology: Reactionary Nationalism note Ultranationalism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Serbia shall be pure, Serbia shall be strong, Serbia shall be free.
With the Chetnik forces successful in the power struggle in the aftermath of the Serbian National Uprising, a dark chapter of history closed, and a fresh one opened. Many had hoped this new chapter would bring with it the much-needed changes to society, to better the lives of the oppressed Serbs and to gain back their lost national pride, but nothing could be further from the truth. Vojislav Šešelj is the latest head of the Chetnik government, a group of hardline Serbian royalists and nationalists who brought back the Karađorđević dynasty to rule the Kingdom once again in 1963.
His speeches, while radical, are the only thing that’s keeping the facade of an independent Serbian state alive. Nothing has changed since the Chetnik clique came into power, the king is a mere figurehead and the frustration towards their German oppressors has been redirected towards their lost brothers in occupied former lands. Šešelj calls for the return of Serbian Territory stolen by the Italian-aligned Croatia and Bulgaria, but for now these are just mere empty threats. Germania pays little attention to the Chetniks Ethnonationalist rants, as the permanent Wehrmacht presence makes sure anything not in favour of Germania’s policies would be dealt with quickly.
Serbia shall be poisoned, Serbia shall be weak, Serbia shall be a puppet.
- Nationalist Symbol: Šešelj is a fervent nationalist and will take any opportunity to re-take Serbian's rightful territory.
