Großgermanisches Reich
Official Name: Großgermanische Reich der Deutschen NationTr.Great Germanic Reich of the German Nation
Ruling Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche ArbeiterparteiTr.National Socialist German Workers' Party
Ideology: Reformed National Socialismnote National Socialism
When the Greater German Reich erupted into chaos in the final weeks of 1963, its contemporaries smugly declared the premature death of Adolf Hitler’s Thousand Year Reich. Today, thirty-six years after the fact, nothing need be said to prove their predictions unquestionably wrong.
Following the victory of Führer Albert Speer Sr. in the power struggle, Germany underwent a dramatic transformation, swiftly clawing itself back to the top of the European pecking order. Rather than continue the policies that nearly led to the end of Germany’s empire, the elder Speer’s — and later, Spiedel’s — softer interpretation of National Socialism filed down the Reich’s jagged edges. The practice of slavery was abolished, Hitler’s cult of personality was dismantled, and the free practice of religion was legalized — to mention only a handful of the second and third Führers’ many reforms. Slowly but surely, foreign ambassadors that had previously refused to even look in the direction of their German counterparts began trickling into Germania on official business. The Reich’s shattered hegemony began to coalesce anew, molded not by an iron fist, but by a velvet glove.
Today, in the year 1996, the Greater German Reich sits atop the Europakt — the world’s most prosperous economic sphere. The Reichsmark has replaced the US Dollar as the most popular reserve currency. As Germany’s latest invention, the Weltnetz, spreads across the globe, the German language is on pace to usurp English as the world’s lingua franca.
Führers
Albert Speer Jr.
Role: Führernote Head of State
Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Faction: Regime
Ideology: Reformed National Socialismnote National Socialism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Albert Friedrick Speer Jr. is a far cry from the powerful man he once was. Born July 29, 1934 to one of the most powerful men in the Greater German Reich, the younger Speer enjoyed quite a cushy, comfortable life until his ascension to the Fuhrership.
Under Speer’s leadership, Germany suffered a humiliating defeat in the Second West Russian War at the hands of the resurgent USSR. Speer’s approval rating nosedived to unforeseen lows, and have languished in those depths ever since. Martin Mussgnug’s conservative faction, seeing an opportunity in Speer’s sudden weakness, worked to undermine his government at every possible point, eventually elevating Mussgnug’s influence higher than the Fuhrer above him.
In the following decade, Speer’s fortunes seldom improved. The loss of the East inspired widespread anarchist agitation throughout the Reich. A decade of stagnation and political deadlock tarnished Speer’s reputation further with each passing year, and the hasty formation of the Europakt — a merger of the Zolvereinn and Einheitspakt — did little to stymie Germany’s economic woes. Only within the last few years has the Europakt paid dividends — a desperately-needed win for Speer’s flagging regime.
Today, the sidelined Fuhrer battles with conservative and reactionaries alike in an effort to reassert his formerly-unbridled power. Despite his unenviable position, Speer remains steadfast in his effort to establish his personal vision upon Germany, no matter how unlikely such a dream may be.
- The Heir: Speer Jr. is the eldest son of late Führer Albert Speer Sr. and this connection solely is what allowed him to survive as Führer through the Reich's worst times.
NSDAP Party Officials
Martin Mußgnug
Role: Reichstagpräsidentnote Head of Government
Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Faction: Kritiker
Ideology: Idiosyncratic Nazismnote National Socialism
In-Game Biography Click to ShowMartin Mußgnug, born in 1936 to an SA squad leader, was already a devout National Socialist by the time he entered kindergarten. He supported Speer Sr in the power struggle that followed Hitler’s death, and after the tensions cooled, a zealous Mußgnug began his arduous climb to the top of the political ladder. To young Martin's horror, the ensuing years would see the erosion of the Fatherland’s dominant posture on the world stage, culminating in the worst military disaster in German history; The Second West Russian War.
Mußgnug would never admit it, but he still remembers the bottle-smashing fit of rage he pitched upon hearing the news of Germany’s surrender. It was on that night that a life-changing realization dawned on him; If Germany was to be saved, he, and no one else, would need to ascend to the Führership.
For the next two decades, Mußgnug would grasp every opportunity to accumulate power, wealth, and influence; for his efforts, he eventually found himself elevated to the enviable role of Reichstag President. In this role, Mußgnug’s incredible influence would enable him to execute a sort of social coup against the unpopular Fuhrer Speer. Though Mußgnug lacks any formal authority, a healthy majority of the NSDAP are markedly more loyal to him than to the Fuhrer.
One would be a fool, however, to assume that President Mußgnug would be satisfied with anything short of absolute power. For now, he bides his time — but the writing is on the wall.
- Flamboyant Brute: Mußgnug, Speer's arch-nemesis, is generally loved by the average Reichscitizen and he does not shy away of using this influence to steer public's narrative into his advantage.
Günther Deckert
Role: Chef des Oberkommandos der Wehrmacht (OKW) note Defence Minister
Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Faction: Überparteilich
Ideology: Stratocratic Nazismnote National Socialism
In-Game Biography Click to ShowBorn in 1940 in Heidelberg, Gunther Deckert is a man ruthlessly obsessed with progress. When he isn’t ranting to anyone who will listen about the looming Soviet threat on the eastern frontier, he is tirelessly advocating for more funding for military R&D — a vital expense, in his eyes, to ensure the redemption of the Wehrmacht should they ever come to blows with the Reds.
Deckert styles himself a technocrat, prioritizing scientific advancement and technological innovation above all else. As expressed in his many, many manifestos, the Wehrmacht’s defeat in the Second West Russian War came about due the blase attitude toward technological innovation that persisted in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Deckert suggests that the Soviets, already at a numerical advantage, had been carelessly allowed to “catch up” with Germany’s tech and tactics prior to the war — and the rest is history.
Günter Deckert’s near-obsessive fixation with the next technological breakthrough makes him an odd character to some, but none can deny his passion is rooted in an earnest adoration for his country. As the Greater German Reich strides into the new millennium, Deckert won’t be satisfied until the Wehrmacht stands as the most advanced military force in the world.
- Militaristic Technocrat: The German Wehrmacht is the one thing that truly matters to Deckert and it does not matter who gives him the tools to improve his domain, this person will have his undying loyalty.
Gerhard Frey
Role: Reichswirtschaftsministernote Economy Minister
Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Faction: Überparteilich
Ideology: Reformed National Socialismnote National Socialism
In-Game Biography Click to ShowDr. Erhard Frey, born in Cham, Bavaria in 1933, was raised to honor his race, his country, and his Führer — in that order. Excelling in mathematics during his youth, Frey’s industrious work ethic and natural curiosity would eventually earn him a doctorate in Economics from the University of Graz.
Post graduation, Frey would join the ranks of the German conglomerate Mercedes-Benz, employing his expertise to oversee all of the company’s factories north of the Rhine. During the 60’s, Mercedes-Benz was not excluded from Speer Sr.’s conglomerate crackdowns, but Frey, one of the few competent managers among the corporation’s ranks, was spared Speer’s wrath. On the contrary, Frey would later be hand-picked to serve as Germany’s Economic Minister by Albert Speer Jr. amidst a purge of sycophants and incompetents within his cabinet.
In his current role, Gerhard Frey is well-regarded as one of the few apolitical figures within the Speer Administration. Frey values the German economy’s long-term health over all else, and rarely engages in the ever-present ideological bickering within the NSDAP. Frey’s judicious management skills prevented the total collapse of the German Economy after the Second West Russian War, and now, as the Millenium Rise leads the Reich toward its most prosperous year to date, Frey can at last rest on his laurels.
- Apolitical Workaholic: Frey is not interested in the squabbling between different NSDAP members and instead buries himself in his work.
Joseph Fischer
Role: Reichsminister des Auswärtigennote Foreign Minister
Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei
Faction: Regime
Ideology: Reformed National Socialismnote National Socialism
In-Game Biography Click to ShowBorn into an ethnically German family in Budakeszi, Hungary, Joseph Fischer’s peaceful childhood ground to a screeching halt upon the outbreak of the Hungarian-Romanian War. Though his family’s flight to the Fatherland spared young Joseph the horrors of war, hardship did not elude him.
In his early adulthood, Fischer’s lack of formal education prevented him from securing a stable job, and his poor eyesight made him ineligible for Wehrmacht service. Eventually, his resentful attitude led him to join Revolutionärer Kampf, a student movement group notorious for civil disobedience and incidents of mob violence.
Later in Fischer’s life, the proliferation of left-wing terrorism across the Reich would inspire him to moderate his positions. Despite his checkered past, Fischer joined politics as a member of the Reichstag, where his smooth oratorical skills and honest reputation earned him the admiration of Germany’s younger, more liberally-minded population.
As one of Germany’s longest-serving Foreign Ministers, Joseph Fischer is universally respected for his diplomatic aptitude. Chief among his foreign policy accomplishments is the preservation of the nascent Europakt through the economically-stagnant ‘90s, as well as the recent détente with Japan and the United States. As the world enters the 21st century, his competent negotiation skills are assured to make the most of the Fatherland’s recent economic boom.
- Naive Appeaser: Because of the mistakes in his past Fischer now must spend his remaining years proving his loyalty to Germany, her people and her Führer.

Eduard Rossel
Role: Head of State
Party: Bund für Wolgadeutsche Arbeiters
Ideology: Civilian Dictatorshipnote Despotism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Rossel never had an easy upbringing. Born to Wolga German Parents in Gorky, he was barely a year old when the NKVD shot his father in 1938. His Stepfather was then sent to a labour camp in 1942, and his mother barely escaped the NKVD. In the chaos of Operation Barbarossa, Rossel and his mother fled across the frontlines to the German Army as the USSR began to collapse and began settling in the Wolgan Autonomy within RK Moscowien. Whilst he was no supporter of the Nazi Ideology, he and many Wolga Germans preferred it over the Oppressive Soviets, who now had a vengeance against them.
Now settled in the renamed ‘Hitlerstadt’, he began studying economics and mingling with groups of German Immigrants to Wolga. The messy and chaotic administration of RK Moscowien and the Wolga Autonomy, and the disorder following Hitler’s death, began to turn many Wolga Germans against Nazism, including Rossel.
The Fall of the Reich’s Eastern Territories, including the Wolga Autonomy, proved to be the straw that broke the camel's back for the Wolga Germans. Fearing a potential rebellion, Germania granted the remaining Wolga Territories new sweeping levels of Autonomy and Self-Rule, with Rossel becoming the New Leader of the Freistaat Wolga. As the leading Wolga German, Rossel passed major reforms to grant freedoms to the population and lessen the grip of Nazism in the Free State. While nominally loyal to the Reich, under his leadership, the Free State’s future shall be decided by the Wolga Germans, not Germania.

Birthname: Henryk Kroll
In-Game Biography Click to ShowWhen Poland finally dies and is lost forever, Henryk Kroll shall be the only mourner for its funeral, for no one else in the Reich or Wider Europakt would care.
Born to Catagory 3 Volksdeutsche Parents, Kroll was granted the luck and luxury of being an “Ethnic German”. He worked in an animal shelter in his youth. Kroll soon attended the Technical University of Dresden thanks to new college funds for Polen youth created by Speer Sr. to help grant them new skills. After graduating, he became a Civil Engineer for the local Krakua Government, slowly working his way up the Civil Administration.
He helped rebuild the city after the destruction due to the reoccupation and slowly rose to become the Mayor of Krakau in 1988 and, finally, the Reichsstatthalter of Polen in 1992. To say skill was the main reason for Kroll’s slow rise up the Political Hierarchy would be false. Instead, his rise can mainly be attributed to simply knowing the right people and the right connections, be they within the Wehrmacht, Reichstag or the wider NSDAP. Polen deserves better. It deserved better.

In-Game Biography Click to ShowPart of the First Generation raised after WWII, Schwerdt was born in Germania to a family of Nazi Supporters, with his Father and Grandfather both Card-Carrying Members of the NSDAP. Originally a Surveying Technician, he had little purpose in life until he met his wife while on deployment in Riga after the Ostland Civil War. He married her and moved to Ostland but was forced to quit his job. He used this free time to attend local NSDAP meetings and build political connections.
When Speer Sr. split Ostland into RK Baltikum and Weißruthenien, the resulting political vacuum allowed Schwerdt to launch a career in Politics, becoming the leader of his local Reichsgau. He associated himself with a Clique of Baltik-Deutsche and Germans from the Homeland who sought to have Baltikum under “Rightful” German Rule with a truly German Leader. He soon joined the Lettland Reichstag and became the Infrastructure Minister for Baltikum.
The death of Estonian collaborator and Reichsstatthalter Herald Riipalu kicked off a scramble for succession, but Schwerdt’s Clique were able to convince Germania to appoint Schwerdt as the new Baltikum Leader. With Baltikum’s unquestionable loyalty in check, Germania allows Schwerdt to run the Reichsland as he sees fit. As long as he keeps in line.

Jonas Paschnek

Party: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei Weißruthenien
Ideology: Reformed National Socialismnote National Socialism
Birthname: Zianon Pazniak
In-Game Biography Click to ShowMany would find the idea of a Belarusian still leading RK Weißruthenia laughable. Considering the Open Heart Project, the shifting of its industrial capital to other Reichslands and the high levels of resistance within the state, you’d be hard-pressed to find a native collaborator willing to lead RK Weißruthenia. However, someone has to do the job, and that someone is Jonas Paschnek.
Born as Zianon Pazniak just a few years after the start of the German Occupation of Belarus in 1944, Paschnek was one of the few native Belarusians able to attend the German-dominated Riga Arts and Culture University thanks to his father’s connections as a bureaucrat in the local Belarusian Administration. After Paschnek graduated, he became a Historian primarily focused on documenting the Soviet Occupation of Belarus, focusing on their crimes and atrocities. This included the NKVD’s involvement in the disappearance of his own grandfather.
He worked as a Historian within the administration up until the 2WRW. With the forced resignation of the previous leader of RK Weißruthenia due to the mass sabotage efforts by Soviet Collaborators, the Germans drew up plans to wipe out the Belarusian nation once and for all. When they checked for willing collaborators, Paschnek was the only one (who wasn’t a whackjob) who volunteered.
Why would he volunteer? In Paschnek’s eyes, he is the only one who could save Belarus. A German in charge would destroy the entire nation, but thanks to him, he was able to convince the leaders in Germania to leave a few cities left due to their economic benefits. Paschnek is doomed to be remembered as a Villain, the man who helped destroy his country, culture, and people. But he'll take it if being damned as a traitor is the only way to save his people.
- Collaborator: Jonas willingly collaborates with the Germans for he realises that every Belarussian life is worth saving.

Birthname: Oleksandr Sych
In-Game Biography Click to ShowAlexander Siech was born Oleksandr Sych in 1964 in the waning days of the Ukrainian Civil War in Western Ukraine. Up until his school years, his home was always a target for regional raids by the remnants of the UPA, defining his deep hatred for Ukrainian resistance movements later on in his life. Young Alexander was always told that resisting Germany would be a lost cause and that he “should not rock the boat” if he wished to stay alive and relatively wealthy.
When Bräutigam’s reforms finally rolled in, giving more rights to native Ukrainians, Siech could finally go to a proper school and later - enrol into a law university in Kiew. There, he worked and studied alongside many Ostdeutsch Germans, with whom he made several personal and professional connections. He was considered a very valuable asset by the Reichsland politicians - a well-educated, professional, yet very obedient and ideologically loyal native Ukrainian was quite a rare thing to find. His political journey began in 1985 when he was appointed as an advisor for the Agriculture Ministry, and only eight years later, at the age of 29, after a long and fast journey up the state hierarchy, he was already appointed Reichstatthalter of Reichsland Ukraine.
In his few years of leading the colony, he has managed to strike some sort of balance between Ukrainian and German interests within Ukraine. No native would quite call him a horrible and soul-less dictator, while no German bureaucrat would dare to refer to Siech as a “Ukrainophillic pig”. He simply follows orders.

In-Game Biography Click to Show Around every corner and alleyway in Georgia, you hear whispers of the men who betrayed their nation during the 2WRW. Many names are uttered in bitterness and hatred, with Tengiz Kitovani often one of them.
Only a boy when the Nazi Empire occupied Georgia, he, like many Georgians, saw first-hand their treatment by their “Nazi Saviours”. The factories and mines of Industrial Barons soon covered up the bodies and bones of those who stood up to their Occupiers. But instead of Opposition, Kitovani turned to Collaboration as he joined the new Georgian Police that kept the new Status Quo secure.
He revealed the lengths he was willing to go to benefit himself when he sold out his comrades in the Police Force during the 2WRW, who had occupied Tbilisi in an attempted rebellion to free Georgia from the Nazi Grip. Grateful for his loyalty, the Nazi administrators made him the Chief of Police for Tbilisi. He used this position to become the head of RS Georgien soon after and, finally, the Head Administrator for Kaukasus as his Azerbaijani predecessor was purged in response to the Ganja Incident. Kitovani is a traitor to himself, to his community and his nation, but he doesn't care. Power trumps Morality in his mind.
- Captain Of Industry: Kitovani leads the ruthless industrial exploitation of the Kaukasian lands with little to no care for the native population.

Stechbarth was born into a farming family and drafted into the Wehrmacht at the height of the Second World War to fight the Soviet Union. After the War, he completed his advanced training and began serving as a Tank Commander. He fought against the Soviets again during the West Russia War, serving in the Defence of Moscow, and was promoted again after the war's conclusion. Despite his age, he fought the USSR once more during the 2WRW as a Lieutenant General of the 74th Panzer Division.
He oversaw the retreat to Homel near the end of the War with his 74th and several other divisions. In Homel, he led an unauthorised yet successful defence of the city against the Red Army with the Wehrmacht Divisions under his leadership. Instead of Punishment, he was met with Praise and Admiration for his actions at Homel. Speer Jr. made him the Generalfeldmarschall of the newly established Militärbezirk Homel and was ordered to lead the Slavic Anti-Communist Resistance against the USSR should War break out once more, and Stechbarth is determined to prepare Homel for the inevitable. For its Destiny.
- Old Hero: Horst has proved undying loyalty to the Reich the best way an Aryan man can, with an impressive record of military accomplishments.
