- Anamanaguchi return to provide the score, after scoring Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game back in 2010. "Yet Another Winter Again" is a wonderfully peaceful and wistful track for traveling through Future Toronto.
- The cover of "I Will Remember You" Envy sings at the funeral as performed by Metric... even if the second half of a bit too upbeat for a funeral, it's nonetheless a shining tribute to the band's talents... just not Scott.
- The final episode brings with it a chiptune cover of "God Only Knows", which perfectly fits the epilogue.
- What little we hear of Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Musical is a surprisingly catchy throwback to classic Broadway.
- "Black Sheep" from the live action movie makes a triumphant - if brief - return, being sung by the crowd at a Clash at the Demonhead concert. It is glorious.
- Knives and Kim's improvised duet in episode 3, that also reveals Knives' insane musical talent.
- The credits of episode 3 feature "You Wouldn't Like Me" by renowned Canadian indie pop duo Tegan & Sara, identical twin sisters who happen to both be openly lesbian; only fitting for the Canada-set story's episode focusing on Ramona's one lesbian ex.
