• As they are getting arrested by the police, Hina calls down a lightning bolt to a truck and makes it explode, which distracts the police so they can run away.
• After Hodaka escapes the police station, Natsumi was waiting for him and gives him a ride on her motorcycle. Doing several stunts to evade the police and get him towards the shrine.
• After Natsumi's motorcycle gets stuck in water, Hodaka does a Big Heroic Run on the train tracks for a long distance sweating under the clear summer sun.
• Kaisuke Suga going full Papa Wolf and taking down both Detective Takai and another policeman to help Hodaka. Especially when he gives Takai a very satisfying punch to his jerk face.
• Nagi managing to escape custody with a clever ruse and taking down Detective Yasui single-handedly to help Hodaka reach Hina.
• Hodaka reaches the shrine and is sent to the clouds. He finds Hina and she jumps along with him through the clouds and the sky, while Hodoka says that she's more important than the blue sky and encourages her to pray for herself - not for others.
• The fact that Hodaka was able to spend another three years on the island that he previously loathed before going back to see Hina again.
  • The light novel goes into further detail: his previously Abusive Parents soften up and he becomes an ace student with new friends in school and he’s very sociable with adults. His mannerisms seem to have improved as well, albeit marginally.
