Fighting crime on the big screen has ever looked this authentic.
- Two parts in the beginning of the movie:
- When the Professor falls down the stairs, he drops the gifts, which Bubbles and Buttercup catch, while Blossom catches the Professor, gently setting him down while reminding him to be careful when walking on the stairs.
- When the girls were able to effortlessly move their furniture in their room and make windows for themselves. They were also able to effortlessly make a peanut butter & jelly sandwich.
- The tag sequence. After Blossom spends some time chasing after her sisters while ripping through concrete and cars, Blossom decides to put her intelligence to work, using a chrome ball to predict that Bubbles is heading towards the subway. So she quickly rips through the subway tunnels as Bubbles continues flying, thinking no one will catch her. By the time she realizes that Blossom is standing right in front of her, Bubbles makes a futile attempt to brake before Blossom could catch her. Instead, she screeches to a halt right next to Blossom.Blossom: Tag! You're it! *blows a raspberry*
- During the same tag scene, Buttercup flies through several buildings and a gas tank, leaving a giant explosion. Blossom and Bubbles immediately start running for their lives, but in the end, they both get tagged.
- During the fight against Mojo Jojo, Blossom is forced to protect a stray dog from a barrage of needles. So what does she do? She punches every single one of them out of the air, screaming like a barbarian.
- Buttercup punches out one of Mojo's chemical X infused apes while inciting the infamous Planet of the Apes (1968) line after being frustrated with having to save Talking Dog several times. That punch effectively made the Powerpuff Girls what they are today.Blossom: Buttercup!Buttercup: I-I-I-Blossom: You're a genius!Buttercup: I am...?Bubbles: She is?Blossom: Yeah! The only way to stop the monkeys, save the town, and find the Professor is to use our powers to... (people are about to be crushed by a tank) Better yet, watch! *cue ass kicking*
- The entire montage of girls sweeping down sweet carnage on the whole army of super-intelligent monkeys, all in many badass, witty and even adorable ways. You know in that moment the Powerpuff Girls as we know them were truly born.Blossom: Come on, girls! Let's put an end to this gorilla warfare!!
- Blossom performs what looks like a Rider Kick straight on Ojo Tango's tank, piercing through it and leaving it blowing behind her on it's wake.
- After that scene, Bubbles gets irritated by the flying squadron of spitting monkeys and shoots a laser at them. This hits one of the monkey's , forcing it to go haywire and collide with the other. Cue off-screen chain explosions from the above - and then countless bodies of the monkeys rain down beside the girls.
- Blossom stops Killa Drilla's drill by grabbing it with her bare hands, causing it to spin out of control and send him flying.
- Buttercup saves her sisters by twisting the cannon of Baboon Kaboom's mecha into a knot and blowing it up.
- The sequence ends with a rapid-fire montage of shots of the girls beating the monkeys that gets faster, and faster, and faster until the punches and kicks sound like one continuous stream of blows, finishing with a final shot of the girls punching the screen together, causing a shower of impact stars to rain down, followed by a cascade of knocked-out monkeys falling to the ground like raindrops.
- As he takes the Professor deeper into his lair, Mojo activates a series of heavy steel doors to keep the girls out. How long does it take them to smash through every single one? About five seconds.
- The conclusion, where the girls first beat the tar out of a literal army of superpowered intelligent primates before defeating a giant, Chemical-X enhanced Mojo Jojo via Shut Up, Hannibal! when he plays the We Can Rule Together card. It brings a tear to the eye. A Tough Girlish Tear:Blossom: We'd never join you, and it's because we are stronger!Bubbles: Because we are invincible!Buttercup: Because we have the power!All: WE HAVE TO PROTECT THEM FROM YOU!Blossom: It's you who is to be feared!Buttercup: You are evil!
- Actually, Mojo's speech itself is actually pretty awesome as well given that he is correct from early on in the film.Mojo: (picking up the girls in his fist) Fools! You dare to challenge me? Attempt to defeat me? Try to destory ME?! I who saved you from certain death! After all I've done for you, YOU BETRAY ME!? AND WHY!? (Rips open building and shows them to a group of scared citizens) For them?! The ones that hated you!? Have forsaken you?! Can't you see? None of them will ever understand you as I can. For we are kindred spirits whose powers spring from the same source. So girls, do not make me destroy you! For we are smarter! We are stronger! We are invincible! We have the power! WE ARE SUPERIOR TO THEM! AND WE SHALL RULE!!!!! All we have to do is work together. Girls, join me.
The Girls: (all open their eyes...and suddenly gain intense glares as their combined strength start to make Mojo's grip loosen, resulting in an 'Oh, Crap!' face.) NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
- Actually, Mojo's speech itself is actually pretty awesome as well given that he is correct from early on in the film.
- The movie is just one big CMoA for Mojo. He takes out the Gangreen Gang with just a trash can lid. He creates his lair and an army of mutant monkeys by playing on the girls' rejection by the town, and hams it up, Mojo-style of course. Then, he uses the chemical X used on the monkeys to turn him into a fire-breathing, claw shooting, sonic clapping King Kong. The last moment doubles as an Awesome Moment of Crowning as he rips off the dome of Townsville City Hall and places it on his brain, thereby claiming the title of king for himself.
- The first time Mojo Jojo starts rambling Mojo-style definitely qualifies as one for both him and for his voice actor for managing to say it all in one breath. Below is the extended version
