Episode 1

  • While he takes it a few steps too far, Jin thrashing the three bullies who jumped him is quite satisfying. Thankfully for both him and the bullies, Jun steps in before Jin does something everyone regretted.
  • Later that day, the drunken father of one of the bullies shows up to demand an apology. When he makes the mistake of insulting Jin's mother, Jin charges him, ready to give him a taste of what he gave his son. Thankfully, Jun is much faster than her son and knocks the man on his ass with a shove. She then tells both the man and his son to leave.
  • Jun's fight to protect her son from Ogre. She is barely able to phase the creature, but that doesn't stop her efforts and she manages to get him in an arm bar just long enough for a gas explosion to go off, seemingly killing them both.

Episode 2

  • Just the fact that Jin endures Heihachi's ruthless training regimen is a feat in and of itself.
  • The man Heihachi hired to find the pendant that could track Ogre refuses to hand it over unless he is paid more money. Rather than just take the pendant himself which he could easily do, Heihachi orders Jin to beat up the man and take it. Jin succeeds, utterly demolishing the man, and receives only a single slash on his arm because he briefly hesitated.
  • Heihachi tells Jin that his training will be complete when he can defeat Heihachi and leave the arena on his own two feet without his grandfather's permission. After four years, Jin finally defeats his grandfather in one of their training sessions, drawing blood from him using the Lightning Screw Uppercut.
    • Heihachi taking his defeat in stride counts as an awesome moment for him.
  • Before their training started, Heihachi told Jin the story of the two stone lanterns in his garden. Heihachi's father Jinpachi had them carved and destroyed one of them with his bare hands, leaving the other one intact to symbolize how Mishimas had the power to both create and destroy. The first thing Jin does upon completing his training is destroy the other lantern with a punch.
    Jin: Now they match.

Episode 3

  • Jin watches some footage from Kazuya and Heihachi's final match from the second tournament. It's only about two minutes, but what little we see is an awesome display of the power and skill both fighters are capable of.

Episode 4

  • Ling Xiaoyu vs Nina Williams. At first it looks like Nina has Xiaoyu on the ropes, but then Xiaoyu reveals that she is deliberately allowing Nina to tire herself out and then strike when she has an opening, defeating the trained assassin. Even Heihachi is impressed.
  • Jin and Hwoarang's fight is a pretty awesome moment for both of them, even if it ends in Jin winning. For extra points, Jin refuses to resort to excessive aggression and anger like Heihachi wanted, and even retains his friendship with Hwoarang afterwards.

Episode 5

  • Jin vs Heihachi is an awesome fight just from a storytelling and choreography standpoint.
    • Despite having barely recovered from his fight with King, Jin still accepts Heihachi's challenge without hesitation.
    • Heihachi manages to knock Jin out of the ring and into a stone wall. Jin gets right back up and even taunts Heihachi with a beckoning motion.
    • Jin decides to rely on his mother's teachings instead of Mishima-style karate. And wins.
    • Heihachi still manages to turn this into a victory. It turns out that the reason he challenged Jin was to push his grandson to his limits and have him draw out Ogre, which succeeds.

Episode 6

  • Jin's fight against Ogre in both it's normal and monstrous form.
    • When True Ogre starts overwhelming Jin, Paul, Hwoarang and Xiaoyu step in to help him. They barely manage to make him budge, but their valor is quite impressive.
    • Seeing Ogre hurting Xiaoyu gives Jin one hell of a Heroic Second Wind and he proceeds to brutalize the monster in a series of rapid fire blows.
    • And just as Ogre is about to collapse from Jin's assault, Jin grabs him by the beard, shakes his head as if to say, "I'm not through with you just yet" and then finishes him off with a powerful headbutt.
    • Heihachi shoots Jin in the head after the latter defeats True Ogre. But just as the old bastard thinks he's done with his grandson, Jin transforms into Devil Jin and gives Heihachi a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown. If not for Xiaoyu and Hwoarang calling for him to stop, Jin would have killed Heihachi.
