Heartwarming / Tekken: Bloodline

Go To

Episode 1

  • The scenes of Jun and Jin just being together as a family, eating dinner, doing homework and practicing martial arts. It only makes it sadder when Ogre attacks.

Episode 2

  • Even though it's on a rather small level, Heihachi still holds his father Jinpachi in high regard despite having betrayed and murdered him. He honors Jinpachi's memory by keeping two stone lanterns which were carved by the finest stone-cutters in all of Japan exactly as they were left years ago in his training area, one of them having been broken with a single punch from Jinpachi to demonstrate that the Mishima bloodline has great power which can be used to both create and destroy.
  • When Jin repeats Jun's "strong body, strong mind" mantra, even Heihachi admits that she was (mostly) a wise woman.
  • Heihachi is going over a list of fighters who disappeared by Ogre's hands, and when he learns that Lee is one of the missing, he is visibly concerned. This is especially touching since Heihachi disowned Lee after the events of Tekken 2.

Episode 3

Episode 4

  • During their fight, Jin gets carried away and breaks Leroy's leg. He feels bad about it and even tries to offer Leroy some advice about adjusting his fighting style to accommodate his injury.
  • Jin and Hwoarang have a fight in which they hold nothing back. Despite Heihachi trying to push Jin to be more ruthless, Jin refuses to do any more damage to Hwoarang than is necessary and even offers to buy them both beers.

Episode 5

  • Jin and Hwoarang's concern over an injured Xiaoyu.
  • When Xiaoyu awakens in the infirmary, she assumes Jin is going to lecture her about competing in the tournament. Jin tells her that he was simply worried about her well-being, had no issue with her competing and even implies that he looked forward to a match with her (making it perhaps the only match he would have enjoyed for its own sake rather than just another step in his plan for revenge). He also tells her about how his mother trained him and Xiaoyu realizes how her death made him so closed off.
  • The fact that King tries to sneak around Xiaoyu's hospital room to check on her health, showing concern even for his defeated opponent.
  • Jin learns from Julia that King is participating in the tournament to win money for an orphanage. After defeating him, Jin gives King the prize money as he has no need for it.
