* Later that day, the drunken father of one of the bullies shows up to demand an apology. When he makes the mistake of insulting Jin's mother, Jin charges him, ready to give him a taste of what he gave his son. Thankfully, Jun proves much faster than her son, knocks the man on his ass with a shove. She then tells both the man and his son to leave.

* Before their training started, Heihachi told Jin the story of the two stone lanterns in his garden. Heihachi's father Jinpachi had them carved and destroyed one of them with his [[CharlesAtlasSuperpower bare hands]], leaving the other one intact to symbolize how Mishimas had the power to both create and destroy. When Jin finally completes his training, the first thing he does is destroy the other lantern with a punch.

** [[spoiler:Seeing Ogre hurting Xiaoyu gives Jin one hell of a HeroicSecondWind and he proceeds to absolutely demolish the monster in a series of rapid fire blows.]]

** [[spoiler:Heihachi just shot Jin in the head after defeating True Ogre. But just as the old man thinks he's done with the young man, Jin's Devil Gene awakens, transforming him into Devil Jin, and gives Heihachi a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown. It wasn't until Xiaoyu and Hwoarang call him to stop that Jin decides to spare Heihachi and fly into the night.]]

* [[BadassAdorable Ling Xiaoyu]] vs [[ProfessionalKiller Nina Williams]]. At first it looks like Nina has Xiaoyu on the ropes, but then Xiaoyu reveals that she is deliberately allowing Nina to tire herself out and then strike when she has an opening, defeating the trained assassin. Even Heihachi is impressed.

* The man Heihachi hired to find the pendant that could track Ogre refuses to hand it over unless he is paid more money. Rather than just take the pendant from, which he could easily do, Heihachi orders Jin to beat up the man and take it. Jin succeeds, utterly demolishing the man, and receives only a single slash on his arm because he briefly hesitated.

** [[spoiler:And just as Ogre is about to collapse from Jin's assault, Jin grabs him by the beard and shakes his head as if to say, "I'm not through with you just yet" and then finishes him off with a powerful headbutt.]]

* Just the fact that Jin endures Heihachi ruthless [[TrainingFromHell training regimen]] is a feat in and of itself.

** [[spoiler:And just as Ogre is about to collapse from Jin's assault, Jin grabs him by the beards and shakes his head as if to say, "I'm not through with you just yet" and then finishes him off with a powerful headbutt].

** [[spoiler:When True Ogre starts overwhelming Jin, Paul, Hwoarang and Xaioyu step in to help him. They barely manage to make him budge, but their valor is quite impressive.]]
** [[spoiler:Seeing Ogre hurting Xaioyu gives Jin one hell of a HeroicSecondWind and he proceeds to absolutely demolish the monster in a series of rapid fire blows.]]

** [[spoiler:Heihachi still manages to turn this into a victory. It turns out that the reason he challenged Jin was to push his grandson to his limits and have him draw out Ogre, which succeeds.]]

** Jin decides to rely on his mother's teachings instead of Mishima-style karate. [[spoiler:And wins.]]

* Jin and Hwoarang's fight is a pretty awesome moment for both of them, even if it ends in Jin winning. For extra points, Jin refuses to resort to excessive aggression and anger like Heihachi wanted, and even retains his friendship with Hwoarang afterwards.

* Jin watches some footage from Kazuya and Heihachi's final match from the second tournament. It's only about two minutes, but what little we see is an awesome display of the power and skill both fighters are capable of.
