"These Turtle boys don't cut him no slack."

  • Ever wondered why this show is fondly remembered by everybody, even today? The Theme song, just the theme song of this show in general. The colorful and stunning animation along with the catchy and energetic tune just made it so memorable.
  • In the first episode of the show; the Turtles first appearance is just as iconic as the source material they originate from. They save April from some street punks while remaining hidden in the shadows.
  • The Turtles' first battle with the Foot. The moment they realize that their foes are robots, the theme music kicks in and they go to town on them.
Michelangelo: Let's show 'em that Turtles know how to party!
  • When the Turtles first enter the technodrome, they face a room filled with robots. After Leonardo gives the other Turtles orders on how they can win, they charge and utterly decimate them as the main theme plays.
  • Leonardo gets one in "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X". The turtles are in a flying car and find the weather machine that's causing havoc. Leonardo leaps out of the car and slices it in half with his katana. Had they not had the neutrinos' flying car, he would have died saving the city.
Raphael: Everybody complains about the weather, but you actually did something about it.
  • Shredder vs. Splinter. All the way.

  • Shredder defeating two gangsters at the beginning of "Return of the Shredder!" Considering this happened around the time of his massive Villain Decay it definitely counts.
Shredder: Now, what were you saying about money?
Mugger: We were sayin'...if you don't have any, take ours!

  • One for Shredder in "The Big Rip-Off": With the Turtles thwarting the villains' attempts to steal power-sources for the Technodrome, Shedder endangers April O'Neil, knowing the Turtles will save her. While the Turtles are busy, he sends Bebop and Rocksteady to steal power-packs from another station. Even though Shredder gets blown up by the Turtles again, the Technodrome is able to regain power.

  • Master Splinter kicking Shredder's ass in "Blast from the Past"...with The Three Stooges gags.
  • In one episode, a mugger approaches the turtles.
    Mugger: Gimme your money.
Leonardo: I've got a better idea. (pulls out his katana) Give me your knife.
    Mugger: It's yours. (Runs off)

  • "Leonardo Versus Tempestra" had the Turtles fighting 3 giant monsters summoned by Tempestra, the main highlight being Donatello who destroyed the ice monster by hitting back a hurling ice ball from said monster with his Bo staff, like a batter in a baseball game. Keep in mind that the monster is like twice his average size.
  • In the episode "Son of Return of the Fly II", the Turtles are all tied into death traps by Baxter Stockman, using hard light ropes to keep them in place. Leonardo pulls a small knife from his wrist strap and starts cutting. As the traps are all about to go off, Raphael asks Donatello if he can get out. Donatello tells him that only the most skilled ninja master could escape the ropes. Cue Leonardo leaping from his death trap with sword drawn, freeing his brothers as the theme song plays. What completes it is Donatello's pleasant "Oh, hi Leonardo."

  • After many seasons of cheesy jokes and inconsistency, Season 7 finally gave us a little more action like the first 5 episodes. Starting with "Night of the Dark Turtle".
    • The Triceratons made their first and only appearance in this episode, and they were portrayed as an actual threat rather then another villian of the week. The Turtles never stood a chance.
    • Donatello donning the "Dark Turtle" costume and proclaims to the Triceratons that he is the ruler of the entire planet. He then uses Shredder's Micro-Blaster to destroy the Star Gate generator seemingly with his eyes. Terrifying the Triceratons as they retreat.

  • The season 7 finale "Shredder Triumphant!" is filled with many awesome moments:
    • Shredder and Krang come up with a plan that finally lets them get ahead of the turtles: They trap April and one of the four in an airtight bank vault, so that while the remaining turtles are trying to rescue their trapped friends, Bebop and Rocksteady are able to get ahold of a power source they were needing. It's one of the few times that Shredder and Krang are able to successfully trick the turtles and get exactly what they needed.
    • Irma taking a level in badass in "Shredder Triumphant!", complete with Rambo Shout-Out for good measure.
    • When the Technodrome invades New York and Krang plans to draw the whole earth into Dimension X...the Turtles get around the forcefield when Donatello "borrows" an army vehicle, blasts his way underground, and shoots a missile directly UNDER the Technodrome. The missile carries off the giant mobile fortress and sends it through the portal first...where Krang's Stone Warriors, ready to attack the planet, start firing as soon as they see something coming through. The Technodrome is utterly decimated by artillery fire and crash-lands in Dimension X, trapping the bad guys there. The aftermath is even better as the forever-persecuted Turtles finally get a hero's reception from the citizens of New York for their efforts.

  • The entire first episode of the more serious "Red Sky Seasons", titled "Get Shredder":
    • The Turtles' make work of a bunch of generic goons stealing in the Auto shop.
    • Meanwhile, The Shredder pours in a bunch of chemicals in a barrel to "trick" the police into thinking its gonna explode. But apparently:
Bebop: Gee boss, we sure bluff our way out of that one.
    (The entire building explodes)
    Shredder: I never bluff...
    • He does it again in the same episode. It has to be seen to believe.
    • Leonardo and Raphael fighting against Berserko's robots, Raphael gets the main highlight in that scene.
    • The Turtles snap and proceed to give the Shredder a beatdown after he supposedly killed their friends when the Channel 6 building was destroyed.
      Leonardo: You miserable maggot.
      • In a turn of events, Master Splinter got into the building on time and saved everyone before it exploded.
    • April's Speech to Burne in the end of the episode, after he intended to use his media influence to brand the Turtles' as public menaces to society.
April: Cowards ?! They captured Berserko didn't they ? And besides, they'll be back. And no matter what you'll say, they'll keep on fighting to save the city from the forces of evil, especially Shredder.

  • In "Wrath of the Rat King" throughout the whole episode, the Turtles have doubted themselves as heroes, believing that they have been causing as much trouble as they stop it. But after a little pep talk from Splinter and watching the news broadcast of Vernon berating them on T.V, it pushes them to get their act together.
Raphael: He can't say that about us and get away with it!
Donatello: We'll show him who the real enemy is!
Leonardo: We're gonna catch shredder and his goons, and make Vernon eat his words.
Michelangelo: Alright!, the Turtles' are back online!
    Turtles: TURTLE POWER !!!

  • In the episode "Cyber Turtles" The Turtles' put on the Cyber Suits to stop both the Glaxxons, The Shredder and Krang from merging Dimension X to Earth. Sure the suits are obviously there to promote the toys, but still.
    • Casey Jones came back after a long absence, seeing him teamed up with April as they try to stop Krang and Shredder.
      • Throughout the whole episode, Casey has been extremely formidable shoving Rocksteady over, getting in a sword fight with the Shredder and even smashing Krang in the face with a baseball bat
    • Also when Donatello finally figured out how to activate their weapons in the Cyber suits.
Raphael: Say Cheese you overblown Tin Cans!
    • Splinter's deep speech to the Turtles about War at the end of the episode
Splinter: Since time began, War-like people have sought Ultimate power. There could be many alien races who might try to seize the firestar before the Glaxxons can destroy it. And if one of them should succeed, we will no doubt hear the Glaxxons again.

  • The Turtles' Curb-Stomp Battle against the Rock Soldiers on dimension X, in Season 8 Episode 8 Turtle Trek.
  • Master Splinter taking on Lord Dregg and his goons in Season 10 episode 7 "The Day the Earth Disapeared".
  • The Turtles seemingly trapping Shredder and Krang in Dimension X for good in "Turtle Trek", they did the same thing to Lord Dregg in "Divide and Conquer".
