  • It's a nice moment but Kouji proceeds to take on Baron Ashura with his mass produced unit, only for it to become clear that even with his skills, he's being out-powered. Cue Sayaka getting a nice moment to shine by piloting Mazinger Z and rocket punching Ashura.
  • In the mission introducing GaoGaiGo in the Earth Route, Yuta Hibiki, Utsumi and Rikka tell Yuta Tomonaga to stay back on the Dreisstrager and let the others handle finding BioNet. Instead, Yuta stalks off and makes himself bait, allowing himself to get kidnapped and using his location to help Dreikreuz and GGG find the other kidnapped citizens and free them. The Brave Police might have been upset at him for pulling this stunt, but the kid proves that size and age means nothing when it comes to guts and courage!
  • In "Hyoma's Failures", the Combattler V team is going through a simulation to get everyone used to the return of the Grandasher attack. However, Kosuke's put a price on this - Hyoma treats the simulation Combattler like the real one, he'll lock out Grandasher permanently. It's all fun and games until Kosuke puts Hyoma through a test — three Geara Doga performing the Jet Stream Attack. Hyoma's solution? Grandash the entire team. Kosuke ends up passing him because of this sort of thinking.
  • Amuro's grand return. After being presumed dead for part of the game, it turns he's alive and was currently under house arrest at a Federation base alongside Chan. However, trouble arises when the Kikaiju and Neo Zeon begin to attack. How does Amuro respond? He rolls out a replica of the RX-78-2 Gundam he's been working on and proceeds to defend the base singlehandedly. Once the Dreikreuz arrives, its younger members can only marvel at Amuro's skill whereas veterans Koji and Ryoma aren't all too surprised by the fact he's kicking ass in what is essentially an antique Mobile Suit by the time the game takes place.
  • In a DLC mission the Eldora gang are training Combattler V's team too hard. Hyoma calls for help for Guy from the Braves to try talk some sense into the elders but he falters due to being a boy scout. The Eldora gang is getting worked up and insist that the Brave teams need to be re-trained too. Hyoma and the others figure Koji, Ryoma and Amuro could help but the Eldora elders are determined to train them too and reminisce about those days. It seems all hope is lost...except for Romero from Victory Gundam to step in and remind Nero and the others what they were like when they were young, raising hell and not always wanting to train pointing out he tries not to be so rigid and experience new things. It gets the Eldora gang to start seeing sense and it's a great moment of spotlight for Romero.
    • In that same mission, a group of Armors have slipped past Eldora Soul, Combattler V and the V2 Gundam and is heading for Dreisstrager. Hyoma knows he can take them out with a powerful Super Electromagnetic Spin, but Combattler V is too slow to pull it off on its own. The Eldora team decides to help out by giving them an extra boost, but even Eldora Soul's help wouldn't be enough. So Usso suggests combining that with the V2's Wings of Light. This results in the machines getting the speed they need to tear through the Armors.
  • In "The Meaning of Happiness", since the Satellite Base that holds Dann got destroyed, it can't teleport away to heal for the next encounter and has to dock in the Dreisstrager instead. As he's tied to Dann, Van gets a serious fever. During the following battle, Joshua manages to convince Ray to spare Carossa and Melissa's life and capture their Sin of Friday instead. He then took its parts to fix Dann, and after seeing that Van has snuck out of the ship, the Eldora Soul just casually grabs Dann from the Dreisstrager's hangar and throws it towards Van. Dann is not yet in top form however. Tetsuya's solution? Zap it with a freaking Thunder Break. And it works.
  • Fikes' Heroic Sacrifice during Dreikreuz's assault to the Quaestors world. Unlike in T where the person who makes a Heroic Sacrifice ended up being the Final Boss of the game, Fikes made sure that when he goes out, it sticks.
  • The 30th Anniversary Mission, which has our heroes defending a memorial for the franchise from a flurry of Mooks during the official unveiling of SRW 30.
  • Though it quickly turns tragic given what he does next, in the IF ending, Caruleum circumvents Magister's regeneration the only way a Combat Pragmatist like him can: Shooting out his cockpit.
  • In "Dark Invitation" a lot of characters get to shine outside their mechs. Nova launches a surprise assault on the battleships with her army of bug monsters. Cue all the bad ass pilots fighting their way through them to get to Hikaru from Guy using his super strength to Van and Daba slicing through enemies to Koji and Ryoma being vicious. Naturally Umi and Fuu get to Hikaru first with their magic powers only for Nova to have a second plan that involves bombs damaging all the hangers and the mechs inside. Cue Ernesti taking charge of directing all the mechanics and crews in how to most effectively and quickly patch up all the mechs with spot repairs to get them out of the hanger doors, marveling even Captain Mitsuba who just a turn again was told none of the mechs could be deployed.
    • DLC characters will also get involved, too. The Sakura Wars crew, owing to their training crossing over between on foot and mech combat, take on a substantial amount of monsters themselves. The ULTRA trio pat themselves on the back for their anti-personnel countermeasures coming in handy on top of joining the fight since, technically speaking, their suits are their mechs.
    • Like in her home series, Hikaru was continually plagued by Nova in her dreams and it got to a point where latter tried to take over her psyche that Presea had to perform an exorcism ritual just to keep her at bay. Hilariously, after this mission, Nova didn't appear ever again in Hikaru's dreams. It is implied that Nova was so traumatized by people much powerful and crazier than what she expected that it was an equivalent of being exorcised physically by them.
  • In "To a Future Filled With Light". Eva, The Claw & Debonair shows up. Still having bitter memories of Garuda and Oreana, Hyoma literally erupts when Eva does the same thing to Victim.
Hyoma: You tried to control the hearts of the Super A.I.s that YOU gave birth to. That's something I can never forgive!
Eva: I don't understand. How can you get so angry on behalf of Super A.I.s?
Hyoma: I'll tell you how! I still carry the frustrations of a man betrayed by his mother!
Hyoma: GARUDA! This fight is in honor of you, okay?
  • In "Creation"/"awakening"(sic), Alexis Kerib arrives and takes hit after hit in stride. Mocking the heroes to start trying even when they hit extremely high damage numbers. But after Gridman saves Akane, shutting off Alexis Kerib's immortality, Alexis goes into a glorious Villainous Breakdown. Realizing he's been backed into a corner, Alexis goes from calm mastermind to shrieking and roaring about the Dreikreuz actually hurting him. He'll gladly try to manipulate the heroes into trying to join him, but they're having none of it. Of note:
    • Alexis tries to claim that, even without his immortality, humans are beneath him to Ryoma. Ryoma just grins and says he loves shoving claims like that back in their faces.
    • Alexis tries to warn Koji of the power of Magine. Koji tells him to try a better bluff.
    • Alexis tells Uso that kids like him should be seen and not heard. This just gets Usso angry, tired of adults telling him what to do.
    • Alexis will try to woo over Kusuha and Hikaru, girls with incredible power and potential. They're not having any of it.
    • Alexis tries to pull a "Not So Different" Remark on Ryusei over how they're from different worlds yet imposing their will on this one. Ryusei counters with a Shut Up, Hannibal!, pointing out that all Alexis is doing is causing destruction.
    • Alexis is delighted to fight ULTRAMAN and swallow the Light Factor with his darkness. At this point ULTRAMAN tells him to save his breath and shut up.
    • Alexis recognize Ernie being from Akane's original world and tries to recruit him. But Ernie is really pissed off at Alexis for using Akane's passion and tells him they could never be allies.
    • Alexis wonders the point of Sanger trying to fight a losing battle, especially since he isn't from Akane's world. Then Sanger throws his classic "Shut up and Listen" saying he'll cleaves his disgusting grin in two.
    • Van rants that a black is the color for weddings and tuxedos. So Alexis isn't worthy of it. Alexis doesn't even know what to say.
    • Alexis will recognize that Chirico has, in his words, "causal immortality" and delights at being able to consume it. Chirico's response amounts to "come and take it".
  • In the same stage, Gridman unlocks his final attack, which is a reprise of the moment in SSSS.GRIDMAN where he transforms into the original Gridman, right down to the "Yume No Hero" cue.
  • In "End to the Never-Ending" and "Truth", Quaestor tries to argue about him acting as a god because Humans Are Stupid and him trying to impose his truth by force. Much to say, the good guys aren't impressed.
    • Quaestor's plan gives a bad taste in Char's mouth.
Quaestor: I know about you, Char Aznable. I know that you likely understand this truth I have reached.
Quattro: Which is exactly why I cannot permit you to exist.
Quaestor: You would deny even yourself!?
Quattro: I absolutely do! I deny Char Aznable more than any other! I will fight anyone who let their ego decide the nature of the world, for the sake of all those who still have a future. The architects of the future will not be old men who claims to be the ones to know everything.
    • Van doesn't care and begs Quaestor to stop the lectures and fight.
Van: I couldn't care less about this dime-store gibberish you spout! Just fight me already!
Quaestor: Good, because I have no interest in talking to someone who cannot heed my words.
Van: You never shut up either, do you? Whatever, just you watch. Here I come, Quaestor! I am Van of the Dreikreuz!
Van: And from the dephts of my heart... I HATE people like you.
    • The Gridman Alliance will teach a lesson in how to broaden your world.
Gridman: This is it, Yuta! This is the last battle!
Yuta: I got it, Gridman! Let's give it all we've got!
Quaestor: Hyper Agent, I will teach you that you were wrong to lend this world your help.
Rikka: Wait! He knows about Gridman...?
Utsumi: Makes sense for the great emperor of evil! Now that's an enemy worth facing.
Quaestor: None of your can understand. I know means to pass through the boundaries between dimensions, and have gained knowledge of realms far beyond this one.
Gridman: And to monopolize that, you fear the other civilizations gaining the power of Magine.
Gridknight: Ridiculous! In the end you're just a small, pathetic person who cares for nothing but yourself!
Akane: Wow, that's ... pretty high up on the lame scale. I mean, I'm definitly not one to talk but, y'know, just putting that out there.
Yuta: Then come on, Gridman! Let's teach Quaestor a lesson!
Yuta: Let's show him that accepting others is how you broaden the horizons of your world!
Gridman: Indeed, Yuta! Just as it was my encounters with my comrades in this world that let me become stronger. Now it's the time to use that power to protect everything! That's the Hyper Agent Gridman's duty!
  • When it turns out there's still work to be done after defeating the Quaestors with a certain fleet of old robots marching towards Earth, the Dreikreuz's only response, even after all the crap they've already been through, is to Bring It. This never wavers, even as the Angeloi Arcas resume their old tricks and actual fragments of Aos return to seriously stack the odds, and it's perhaps the definitive proof of Character Development across such a ragtag cast.
  • The mission "The Hyper Fighter", which introduces Irm into the cast of heroes, gives us the amazing sight of the Grungust working alongside Gilliam's Gespenst and Edge/Az's Huckebein 30/Huckebein 30th. While the idea of the original Original Generation units working together isn't new thanks to Super Robot Wars: Original Generation, the idea that the trio can work together when their home game couldn't is both amazing and heartwarming.
  • Awakening Instincts. Shinobu has been suspicious ever since Ultimate Dancouga joined the roster, because he could sense something suspicious about Mitsuba. But when the Khailash Geary is hijacked by a Quasar, what does he do? He stops doubting himself and his allies and busts out the Dancou Shinken, killing Quasar and opening the hole that the Dreisstrager needs to get in and stop the Big Laser from being used.
