- Ozaki's Batman Gambit that ends with exposing the Shiki to all of Sotoba.
- Takeo being the one who kills his daughter's murderer. While Megumi was never the kindest, it's heavily implied that she had a good relationship with her father.
- Ritsuko giving Tohru an Armor-Piercing Question that causes him to ultimately stop killing and accept death.
- Tomio advising everyone to open and shatter the windows so the Shiki have no way of escaping.
- While it does border on Bond Villain Stupidity, Tomio gives Sunako a scathing "Reason Why You Suck" Speech that combines with Jerkass Has a Point.
- Muroi killing Tomio for his hand in his mother's murder.
- Natsuno's Defiant to the End moment. He's severely outmatched by Tatsumi, but he still manages to pull a Taking You with Me.
