    Chapter 6 - Reviling Resurrections
  • I.M.P. gets a chance to show their stuff, during their intense but fun shootout with Dr. Crest's reanimated monsters.

Chapter 8 - Contracts and Conversations
  • Warden Rufus gets to demonstrate how easily he could kill Stolas if he wanted, by exploiting the Prince's affection towards Blitzo against him, and then pointing an unloaded gun on him, while he's distracted. Despite being leagues below the Goetia prince, this sudden display of his skill and cunning, is enough to establish the Wolf Demon as a dangerous threat. And he does this while dressed in pajamas.

Chapter 10 - Going on Tour
  • After having enough of Verosika's blatantly racist and condescending treatment of Loona, not even calling her by name, Blitzo confronts his ex and demands she treat her like a person and to put an end to her petty behavior. He's more than willing to offer himself the brunt of her ire and beg on knee for it to stop, much to the succubus' surprise.

    Chapter 11 - Temp Work
  • While the experience leaves her shellshocked for a bit, it is very satisfying seeing Octavia using her magic and gun in battle for the first time, in order to help Moxxie & Millie fend off a monster emerging from their getaway portal.

    Chapter 12 - The Arena
  • Loona's fighting through a legion of mad, bloodthirsty concertgoers, is truly badass to read. In particular near the end where she fights back the crowd, using a Bowie knife and a flaming whip, like Trevor Belmont in Castlevania (2017).
  • Blitzo ends up knocked out for most of the concert brawl, but goes out on a high note, taking down a large demon with a gun, a makeshift spear and some help from Loona.

Chapter 15 - Going to the Dogs
  • Octavia winning the respect and admiration of Loona's hellhound friend group, effortlessly beating them in a game of frisbee, causing them to cheer her own, is a great awesome moment for the teen princess.

    Chapter 16 - Growing Pains
  • After making it onto the 10 ten of her class rankings, Octavia has an awesome confrontation with her fake friend Slaanesh. When the naga attempts to insult her friends and family, Octavia giving her a verbal smack talk regarding her low grades and then proceeds to pummel her right in front of the whole school, with her bare hands.
  • Stella gets one in a flashback, where it's revealed she once beatdown Slaanesh's own mother at a royal gala, after she had insulted Stolas in front of everyone.

    Chapter 17 - Birthday

    Chapter 18 - Night Life
  • Loona effortlessly drinking Slaanesh under the table, much to the shock and awe of everyone in the club, is a truly awesome sight to behold. As was her burping out a massive fireball afterwards, that ends up destroying a good chunk of the club.
  • After Octavia promised to Loona that she would be a better, more loyal friend to her bestie, during the aftermath of their fight in Chapter 17, she keeps her promise her on multiple occasions, with the princess insisting and managing to get her into a "No Dogs" club and her standing up to Octavia, saying she's not sorry for spending the night with her.

    Chapter 20 - A Charming Family Dinner
  • While the scene is played for drama and a big tearjerker for the whole family, it's undeniably very cathartic and awesome to see Octavia finally hold nothing back and call her mother out for her treatment of her & Loona. After 20 chapters, it was worth the wait.

    Chapter 21 - Mending Fencing
  • This 21, reveals Stella is much more badass than she let's on. Not only is she a skilled political noble, she's an expert horse rider, master swordsman; having even taught Stolas a thing or two, and was a master strategist and warrior. During the early days of her marriage, she would often frequently pillage rebellious lower class villages, alongside her fellow Ars Goetias and Captain Yoshimo. Given her descriptions, she was quite the sadist and warrior queen.

Chapter 22 - A Noble Bit of Horseplay
  • Loona gets several ones, during her first encounter with Stella. It's established quickly that Loona is terrified of the swan and the power she possess, but after one too many racist insults and knowing her harsh treatment of Octavia, the hellhound still stands her ground, and demands to have a proper talk with Stella. Stella, who has made her dislike of the hellhound no secret, accuses Loona of using Octavia for her own ends and threatens to turn her to stone right then and there. Loona, again despite the overwhelming odds stacked against her, doesn't back down and even laughs at the idea of Stella, seeing her as just a thief, knowing that she wouldn't go anything out of fear of losing Octavia. By the end, it's a miracle that Loona not only managed to not get killed during her talk, but even hold her own against the mother of Octavia and manage to work out a mutual peace with her, despite Stella throwing multiple jabs her way. It, along with Loona managing to be a surprisingly decent equestrian, are the first steps for Stella to start viewing the hellhound as a person, and even beginning to respect her. For once, we get to see Loona solve a fight not through violence but words. And it's a great show of her intellect.

Chapter 23 - An Exercise in Desecration
  • Almost the entirety of Chapter 23 deserves to be on here. For the first time, we get to see all of I.M.P. on a mission together, and despite numerous close calls and things not going according to plan, we're treated to a truly spectacular and awe-inspiring fight, with the four of them mowing down a host of weapon-wielding cultist mooks, in the middle of a burning building, with guns, axes and their bare fists, in this extremely well-paced, described and bloody massacre. There are many great highlights, but among them are Moxxie using a grenade launcher, Loona & Blitzo fighting side-by-side, the hellhound tearing apart men, after Blitzo is hit, Millie returning some sticks of dynamite back via a baseball bat and the Loona/Millie combo attack on the Eldritch Abomination they encounter in the basement.

    Chapter 25 - The Uproar
  • Octavia showing off her skills with a shotgun, is a great way to highlight just how much of a marksman she has become with Loona's help.
  • Rufus gets an opportunity to show off what he's liked when let off his leash, when he faces the mind-controlled Grevious Brothers. And without using a single one of his guns, only his teeth, claws and utter brutality, Rufus easily butchers the entire gang, many of whom were much larger than him, taking their bullets without feeling a thing and then capping it off by coldly devouring the leader of the gang right in front of the girls. It's as awesome as it is horrific!
  • While bunkered up at the I.M.P building, the group consisting of Blitzo, Loona, Octavia, Moxxie, Millie & Rufus run into various attacks from rabid and crazy hellborn trying to cause mayhem and many of their former targets, coming back to revenge, including Martha. But thanks to some of the Warden's tools, the group of 7 are able to take on and kill their would-be assassins.

    Chapter 26 - Pandemonium
  • This chapter is just a big montage of one epic display of action and carnage after another. First we have out Six Man Band taking on a horde of monster and crazy citizens, with Blitzo collapsing a building on top of them. Then they fight a giant, hulking Behemoth bred for war, with each dealing a devastating blow to the beast, before Rufus blows open its brains. Then they're forced to take on four giant Elder Trolls, Rufus tearing through its chest, managing to hold themselves despite being severally overpowered until Drake and his men show up, to finally kill the remaining beasts. Finally, just when it seems they're about to be burned alive by a dragon, Stella shows up to fight it almost singlehandedly, with a giant flaming claymore, managing to cut through it's throat like a knife through butter.

Chapter 29 - Life Among the Ruins
  • After being humiliated last time he was in Wrath, Moxxie finally get the chance to prove his mettle in front of Millie's family, when he effortlessly kills a wild hog, by shooting it though his mouth. Not only is it impressive that he was able to do this, during a sudden turn, but the act finally earns him his long sought respect from her family.

    Chapter 33 - Resilience
  • After teasing it way back in Chapter 8, we finally get an actually fight between Rufus and Stolas. And while it's mostly a fistfight, with both character refraining from using their guns or magic, but it's still immensely satisfying to see the two of them going at it, with the Prince having the upper hand and nearly killing him until Blitzo stops him, after hinting at their rivalry for so long now.

    Chapter 35 & 36 - Sentinel Duty & Extermination
  • Rufus giving Blitzo a chance to prove himself by calming down the panicking crowd of hellborn and sinners inside the palace, as Extermination looms around the corner. The imp goes above and beyond in proving himself, relying on his showmanship and bossman attitude to sell himself and his company to the crowd with a rousing speech that manages to calm everyone down, and even get him a few volunteers for the defenses. Quite an epic moment for the helluva boss.
  • Despite the massive odds against them, and the event unexpectedly starting early, the gang manage to survive Extermination Night, and even kill one of the Exorcists together, and keep most of them safe and alive.
  • Even some of Stolas' own horses, in particular Persephone, Hades & Kratos, all managed to survive an encounter with the Exorcists and even fought them back.

    Chapter 39 - Remembrance
  • Stolas recounts an event, when Octavia showed up to a royal party, dressed in a beautiful, while riding the wild and brutish horse Kratos, much to the shock of everyone, the horror of Stella and without a sliver of care. Simply handing her horse to the Valet to park somewhere, under threat of feeding his balls to Kratos. The tale is equal parts awesome and hilarious.

    Chapter 40 - A Soiree in Sloth
  • Diana the black swan of the Goetias and Stella's grandmother, absolutely deserves a mention. She was one of the few royal demons to break out of the expected roles given to her by the mysognisitic Goetian court, becoming a battleharded warrior and political rather than someone's bride. When her husband died in the field of battle against Heaven's forces, rather that mourn him, she still as a duchess took his place. She lead his armies through many great victories that turned the war in Hell favor. When she was done, Diana further screwed conventional values by crowning herself one of the Queens of the Ring of Violence, something unexpected of by the Goetian Court. Now years later, she still commands respect from everyone, while being a loving, caring grandmother and role model to Stella.
  • Stella standing up to her brother, after being used as a pawn in his scheme, telling him off and standing up for Stolas was a short but kickass moment. Not only is it great seeing her love for her husband on display, but to see her finally done with the expectations of the Goetia life and her brother's lack of caring for her.

    Chapter 42 - Abominations
  • Loona, Stolas & Blitzo doing a Combination Attack to finally kill off the mismatched horror that's been lurking in the prince's garden.

    Chapter 43 - The Archive
  • Rufus, Stolas, Loona & Blitzo managing to pass Pendergast's challenge, their dark secrets and regrets successfully managing to outscale the horrors and worth of the Elder Gods, allowing them to access the forbidden part of the library.

    Chapter 44 - Madman's Knowledge
  • Pendergast easily subduing and beating Stolas in his full demon form, without breaking as much as a sweat, is as haunting as it is badass.
  • Blitzo betting his life and freedom in a coin toss, in exchange for the information they need. He wins and manages to crack Pendergast's otherwise smug and stoic posture.
  • Despite nearly being driven insane by the overwhelming horror of Mother's realm, Loona, arguably the weakest of the four, is the first to snap out of her state. She is able to shake Blitzo, Stolas and Rufus out of their own terrified funks and together they face down the madness of it all, proving their resolve and determination to free Octavia.

    Chapter 46 - Tuning In
  • We learn the bloody history between Rufus and Al here, learning how they met and became rivals, leading to several bloody fights during their youths. Considering that Alastor was wiping out Overlords and demons almost upon arrival, the fact that Rufus was able to hold his own against the Radio demon, even managing to briefly break his antlers, goes to show how capable the warden is.
  • A villainous example for Alastor. The Radio demon is treated with all the terror and gravitas he is earned, with everyone on edge and scared of his presence. Even Stolas and Rufus are chilled. In the latter's case, Al gets to show off his manipulation and smart talking skills, as he's able to get a rise out of Rufus and almost taunt him into killing him right there, without losing his smile once. It's especially impressive given that until then, Rufus has rarely lost his temper in such a manner amongst other demons.

    Chapter 47 - Infernal Affairs
  • While he's thankfully spared from carrying through with it, the fact that Stolas was willing to fight Lucifer himself to save his daughter, despite knowing how underpowered he would be, is quite the epic display of fatherly love.
  • Charlie gets on on her father, calling him out for keeping the true nature of the Uproar and Octavia's fate, and for trying to keep Stolas from saving his daughter. Considering his haunting entrance last time and how he's towered over everyone else, and how he's looked down on Charlie's dreams, it was immensely satisfying to see her stand up to Lucifer, talking him down and convincing him to help her and her friends bring her cousin back.
  • Lucifer effortlessly putting Alastor in his place, even slipping into a French Cajon accent to really drive things home for the radio demon.

    Chapter 48 - Happy Hour
  • After two chapters of building up their rivalry, we finally get treated to a fight between Rufus & Alastor. While it's one without them at their full might, using only their fists and not guns or magic, it is still an epic display of action, the two beating each other bloody. Rufus even manages to have an edge on Al for most of the fight, landing some devastating hits on the Radio Demon much to the shock of everyone. And while it ends on a stalemate, it feels like a very satisfying match up, that leaves you hungry for more.

    Chapter 50 - Prefatory Preening
  • Even in her lucid state, under the influence of Mother's horrors, Octavia managed to sneak in hints and clues to the Eldritch Horror's home. These clues, are discovered by Stolas, Blitzo & Loona, no doubt helping them narrow down their search. It's the princess' first awesome moment in a while, and feels very satisfying.
  • Following her paramour, Captain Yoshimo gets her own callout moment of Alastor, though this one through words rather than fists, as she manages to shock the Radio Demon into silence, revealing that she knew his mother personally, and the last words she ever spoke about him, and mocks him for focusing on his empire rather than to see him beloved mother.
  • I.M.P. fighting their way through Lucifer's forests, and defeating his many, terrifying beasts is quite the tense but fun spectacle. The group of Hellborn barely make it out alive, and call out Rufus for intentionally leading them there, but still manage to work through their issues and survive long enough to kill their attackers and complete their training course.

Chapter 51 - Forged in Fire
  • Rufus is given complete control of Lucifer's forge, a magnificent workshop filed with all the tools of the craft the warden could want, to prepare for the siege on Mother's keep. What follows is quite the epic forging scene as Rufus and Loona's gang of hellhounds, all come together to help him create new Heaven/Hell mixed weapons for the fight. The process is described as being intense and laborious work, with heat so bad you could pass out, but the combined might of the warden and the hounds, manage to power through it to create the weapons.
  • Yoshimo get the opportunity to show off her combat skills, as she takes on both Millie and Vaggie as her students. The Captain proves how much of a master swordsman she is, by beating the pair in combat multiple times.

    Chapter 52 - Familial Bonds
  • The hounds complete their hard, laborious work at the forge, creating weapons for the oncoming assault on Mother's Realm, all the while set to music from Polaris' playlist. The results? A series of insanely powerful Heavenly/Hellish weapons, in the form of various guns. During a test a revolver was powerful enough to vaporize the target. Whatever the hounds have crafted, it will certainly deal a massive blow to mother and her minions.
  • Along with getting their new weapons, the gang also gets outfitted for new clothes, curtesy of Lucifer's tailor Arthur. And they certainly speak to the man's skill as a tailor, managing to look cool and form-fitting, mixing in suits with armor, while still offering them protection from attacks and allowing them to move freely. With clothes like this, will certainly give them all a huge advantage for their rescue.
  • The final scene with Loona serves well as a look back on how far she, as well as all of the main characters, have come since the start of the story and a badass moment for the hellhound, as she flips the bird in defiance of Mother and Hell itself; saying that no matter what they'll take from her, she'll never stop fighting for herself and Via.

    Chapter 53 - Parting Words
  • Before entering Mother's Realms, the rescue party all don their armor. And based on the descriptions and looks from the pictures they are some absolutely badass sets, supposedly powerful enough to tank hits from Angels. Arthur truly is one hell of a tailor.

Chapter 54 - The Nameless City
  • Even is a realm completely unlike her own, filed with alien monsters, sights, sounds and smells, Loona's trust nose is able to pick up Octavia's scent, helped by her peanut butter shampoo, even from miles away.
  • Octavia having been able to survive in Mother's realm for seemingly months, even with the untold horrors, watchers and unfamiliar landscapes around her deserves a massive mention.

Chapter 55 - Whisperers in Darkness
  • Moxxie, Millie, Vaggie and Rufus are the first of the group to break free of the Choir's hold. As they attempt to get to the others, they're blocked off by a narrow passage as the Choir advances towards them. With no other options the two sinners stay behind to hold off the horror while Moxxie & Millie go on to free Stolas and the others. The pair enter battle by killing a corrupted version of Vaggie's abusive caretaker Miguel before summoning their weapons and diving into the fray.

Chapter 56 - Dreams Beyond the Veil
  • Charlie upon breaking free of the Choir's spell, immediately gets to work on saving everyone else from it's curse control, using her magic to manage and connect everyone else to each other's dreams, helping them to get out of it. A stunning display of magic from the princess, especially after such a traumatic event.
  • The look at Yoshimo's nightmare is brief but glorious, as the Peahen warden of Hell stands over the a mountain of her dead victims, before breaking free of the Choir's hold and resurfacing into the waking world.
  • The way Blitzo breaks free of the Choir's control is equal parts heartwarming and awesome. After the Choir has spent so much time taunting and tormenting him with visions of his failings, disguising itself as the ghost of his past, such as his mom, Barbie and Fizz, the imp is close to giving up and submitting. But as he is able to remember the newfound bonds he has made with Moxxie, Millie, Loona and Stolas he is able to carry on, effectively defeating his past of mistakes and self-loathing, through the friendship he has made in the present. The same bonds that allow him and Moxxie to finally deal the finishing blow to Choir and free almost everyone from it's hold. A beautiful sign of how he has grown.

Chapter 57 - The King in Gold
  • The ENTIRE fight against the King is one beautiful spectacle to behold, and works beautifully as a final battle for the realm as a whole. Each member of the team gets a chance to show off, using magic and finally their holy/unholy weaponry to deliver devastating hits on the King, which all feel truly epic to read out loud. Highlights include Moxxie & Millie effortlessly and beautifully killing several of the King's Servants together, Alastor going into his full demon mode, Charlie & Al unleashing a devastating joined attack of hellfire and lightning, all of the other various team ups and Stolas breaking his sword while slashing at the King, then delivering the finishing blow by crushing its heart with his bare hand.
    • Even Octavia, still trapped and in her exhausted weakened state, manages to contribute, psychically attacking and weakening the King for a moment, when he has the rescue party restrained, allowing them to finish the job.
  • After 27 chapters of waiting and 13 chapters of preparations, we finally get to see Octavia freed from mother's grasp, as Stolas and Loona tear through her bindings and get her out of the Eldritch's hold.
  • As one more "fuck you" to Mother and to deal a critical blow to her armies, the rescue party plant several bombs through her tower before leaving back to the portal. Once there, Moxxie pulls the detonator, bringing down the towering building and, while it doesn't take out all of her monsters, success in killing several of her forces in one blow.
  • The ending. With fifteen minutes left, the three magic experts busy trying to reopen the portal, and only a barrier keeping the worst of Monster's legions back, the gun-totting members of the party make on last stand against the forces of the Eldritch realm. Even though they are on their last legs, most of their ammo is spent, many carrying very painful wounds and them likely knowing they could die here, they are determined to go out with a bang, giving each other one last nod of respect, before they face the gates of Hell, with a confident Blitzo leading the charge.
Blitzo: All right fam. I don't know about you, but I'm done shaking in my boots for these slimy, brain-raping shitlords. Guys, let's fuck these FUCKERS UP!

Chapter 58 - The Last Stand
  • The entire fight is basically one long, glorious moment of AWESOME, as the rescue party bring out all the stops, but their insane heavenly/hellish weapons to use and kill a fuckton of Eldritch horrors, even as they take mortal blow after mortal blow, holding them off long enough to finally escape.
    • When the portal fails the first time around, the magic users are at their wits end on how to reopen it. When all seems lost, Alastor, who is fuming not only because of the failing spell, but due to Mother ruining his usually hellish-fun, being upstaged at his craft and not having nearly been killed/driven to madness by his realm, summons every last drop of magic and blood inside of him, challenging his gods for help and holds onto the spell through sheer spite and power with one angry declaration.
"I've had quite enough! This place is a pig sty! I don't have any coffee! The chocolate is all gone! My best suit is ruined! I'm going to fuck. That. Cunt! I don't care what it takes—WE'RE GOING BACK TO HELL IF I HAVE TO POWER THIS SPELL ON NOTHING BUT PURE SPITE!”
    • Father and Daughter get one beautiful moment of Back-to-Back Badasses, both fighting off hordes of Eldritch Horrors, more than once coming to each other's aid and working in pitch perfect sync, in order to battle their way through the seemingly impossible fight, even as the ground begins to fall apart beneath them. Special mention goes out to Loona devouring a piece of brimstone ore, superheating her fire breath, allowing her to completely vaporize a horde of monsters in one, big, magnificent flame. And when Blitzo is gutted and nearly killed during a sudden attack, Loona fights through a massive mob of monsters, in order to get the body from them and carry it back to safety, going through hell and back to save her father.
    • When a newly regenerated joins the battle, and manages to take out Rufus through a blow to the back, the last three remaining fights, Millie, Vaggie and Yoshimo team up to seemingly and finally put the bastard to rest. Special mentions goes out to Vagatha who calls upon Gungnir, the Spear of Odin himself, for the big fight.
    • With all hope seemingly lost, as Mother arrives and the spell threatens to come completely apart, Stolas risks one last gambit to get them all back. Taking a page out of Blitzo's book and deciding on something reckless, the Prince reaches deep inside himself, drawing upon his own life-force and soul in order to fuel his magic, causing his already weakened and dying body to start falling apart, as he maintains the spell, even offering one of his ruined fingers to fuel it. While it's a heavy price to pay, it works as it allows Charlie to call upon her Mother and get everyone away.
    • Stella being the one to save Octavia, and by extension the whole team, from the Void. Not only does it give her a big role in the rescue, despite not being a part of the team, it works beautifully as a symbolic show of her motherly love for her daughter, how far she's willing to push to get to her, even briefly managing to overpower Lilith, but works great as a final show of how much the two of them have grown since then.

    Chapter 59 - Aftermath
  • Octavia gets a glorious one in the opening after being stuck as Mother's prisoner for most of the latter half of the story. Upon returning back to Hell, she weakly stands up and faces the Eldritch horror, now attempting to escape through their gateway home. Octavia just gives her a cold "No." and effortlessly shuts the portal on Mother's face. Quite the satisfying move after all she's been through. And THEN she commands Lucifer to channel a healing spell needed to mend her friends & families' injuries despite fears it might kill her. She simply shuts him up with a Badass Boast and an Unheard Whisper that chills Lucifer, immediately getting him to comply. Quite the badass return to form for the princess despite what she's been though.

    Chapter 60 - Krampusnacht Gifts
  • Diana, grandmother of Stella, makes her return for the holidays, shirking her duties for one night, wanting to spend time with her family and great granddaughter. Aside from the joy of seeing her again, this time with her full family, and her giving Stella a very sweet sign of approval for how far she's come, Diana even gets an insult on Lucifer when he mocks her for neglecting her duties, casually telling him to kiss her cunt.
  • Thanks to a gift from Krampus, Octavia feels well enough to go out with Loona again. And what does she do? Go back to Mix Masters, the record store that banned Loona at the start of the story, with her new hellhound bodyguard in tow, to buy it AND the entire block, just so they can fire the prick Melvin; the whiny ogre who sexually harassed Loona and got her banned when she rejected his advances. It's quite satisfying to see the bastard get what he deserves, and the baffled, furious look he gets, when he's powerless to do anything about it. Karma has never felt sweeter.

Chapter 61 - A Warm House in a Cold Hell
  • After getting smashed into pieces by Orcs at the start of the Uproar, and believed to be lost forever, the I.M.P. van returns to life at the very end of the story, having been rebuilt good as new by Andromeda and her crew of hellhound mechanics, at the request of Loona.
  • Loona gets to call out Lucifer on his arrogance and shortsightedness, when he pridefully assures them, they'll be ready should the old ones ever come back. Despite being the bottom rung, Loona doesn't hesitate to shout at the Emperor himself, giving him a much needed reality check on how dangerous they were, how everyone nearly died, and how he has no right thinking they can even begin to fight them again:
Loona: "With respect, Sire; shut up. You. Weren't. ''There''. You held the Door open, but you didn't see. You don't know. So please, spare me a little of the rah-rah go-team hype, all right? You didn't fight what we fought. You didn't see what we saw. And what we're still seeing. Or am I the only one still having freaky dreams?"
Blitzo: "No. I have them too. Too often."
    Rufus: "So do I."
    Yoshimo: "We both do."
Loona: "Yeah. I have to chug Somnium like it's everclear on spring break. And I still can't sleep for shit two nights out of every five. So don't tell me we're ready, because you didn't see...It. There's no being ready for something—ANYTHING—like that."
