  • In cases of a David Versus Goliath battle, it's actually possible for smaller dinosaurs to outmaneuver, wear down, and kill larger ones in duels; such as this Ceratosaurus managing to take down a Tyrannosaurus rex. Granted this usually happens if the larger carnivore is already hurt or the smaller animal has boosted stats.
  • Reaching a 3 star rating for your park in Isla Sorna unlocks “Driveable Gyrosphere”, which is exactly what it sounds like, allowing the player to take control of a Gyrosphere for a spectacular POV of their park and dinosaurs.
    • Similarly, the Return to Jurassic Park DLC gives this option for the Land Cruisers from the first movie.
  • The various accomplishments you achieve in the islands campaign. Getting a 100% genome for a new dinosaur, getting a five-star island rating, unlocking new islands, dinosaurs, and research, even starting a new island and getting it up to making money instead of losing (even if only by a bit) all make you feel like a boss.
  • Recreate the climax of Jurassic World by putting a Tyrannosaurus Rex and an Indominus Rex in an enclosure together and have them fight to the death. For bonus points, take a Ranger out and photograph it for the Achievement "Learning Her Place In The Food Chain."
  • Speaking of fights, many of the herbivores can get in on the action. All Ankylosaurs, Stegosaurs, and Ceratopsians won't take a confrontation by a large carnivore laying down and will fight back. Many genera have a large amount of modification slots, allowing them to stand up to the largest carnivores. Iguanodon also gets in on the action as the first Ornithopod to be able to fight back against anything that's not a superpredator.
  • For fans of the first two sequels who've felt neglected by the films mostly only calling back to Jurassic Park, they'll be happy to see Isla Sorna returning in full with most of the dinosaurs introduced in The Lost World and Jurassic Park /// sporting their sequel film designs. Spinosaurus is back.
  • For fans of the earlier park creation game Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, this being a spiritual successor with much of the same content was very welcome, and as of the Herbivore Dinosaur Pack DLC, all of the beloved dinosaurs from JPOG have returned alongside a bunch of new dinosaurs, many of which were Dummied Out of JPOG.
  • The missions from the Return to Jurassic Park DLC are particularly wonderful; they involve an Alternate History where Ingen returned to Isla Nublar after everything went to hell, and simply rebuilt and repaired the park, got Site B back in working order, and ultimately opened Jurassic Park - the original Jurassic Park - up at last.
