Awesome / DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story

• Mild-mannered Gordon, one of the worst players on the team, takes down almost the entire Poughkeepsie State Dodgeball Team (5 players total) singlehandedly with warrior screams and precision strikes.
  • Made even more awesome because he's played by the fairly stocky Stephen Root who is mostly known for playing either the Butt-Monkey or otherwise mousy losers.
  • A deleted scene makes it even more awesome, but on a personal level for Gordon, he goes up to his wife (who clearly just uses Gordon as a doormat) and straight up tells her he wants a divorce.
• Chuck Norris giving the Average Joes another chance in the final round.
• Justin, who hasn't been able to catch a ball all film, finally grabs one when he's the last man standing in the final. Kate then immediately catches one when she returns to the floor to bring back Peter, getting a three player swing to turn the match in their favour.
• Peter and White entering a sudden death match, with Peter blindfolding himself and managing to dodge White's throw and hitting him with the winning shot.
