• Chikane's Death Glare against the Alpha Bitch posse that bullied Himeko for getting her attention is always bringing a sense of satisfaction to the viewers.
• After in the early episodes serving as a MacGuffin character, Chikane Himemiya betrays Himeko, kicks the curb out of Souma; who practically has done all the fighting by himself, corrupts his mecha, takes it to the enemy home base, and even without her mecha, she wipes out the Quirky Miniboss Squad on foot by herself (except the said squad's leader, but he still loses). And after the end, it's later revealed that it's all a plan due to her reasoning of I Want My Beloved to Be Happy.
• Tsubasa manages the feat of fighting Chikane to a draw in their respective mecha, ultimately only losing to her in a Single-Stroke Battle after both their mecha are petrified.
• In Episode 9, Makoto intervenes to save Himeko from the Alpha Bitch and others jealous of Himeko's closeness to Chikane, then leads her to safety despite Makoto still needing a crutch to walk.
• In Episode 10, Himeko successfully performs the ritual to revive Ame no Murakumo by herself despite having failed mere hours before, as a sign of her Character Development and growing strength.
